Nice quaint French Bistro style decor. Yummy French food and great service. We love our waitress.
Best French Onion Soup ever!!!! Will definitly go back again
This is one of my favorite in the Napa Valley. Always a great meal.. Good service. Friendly people. It's a must on your travels there.
Our service was horrendous. Brian, our server, purposefully avoided us and the manager took over.
Food was one of my fav experiences.
One of our absolute favorites! Always delicious!!
One of our favorite restaurants. We having been coming here since we moved to Napa.
40 year anniversary. It is our favorite local spot. We are so happy it is open again. Best foi in the west! The smaller seating, spread out, was nice yet it felt unnatural without the exciting vibe of former times. We Highly Recommend you visit and enjoy a taste of France without the 14 hr flight.
This was the best french good I have ever eaten. The Chef came out to talk to us, Which was really special
One of our favorites. I’ve been there dozens of times. great atmosphere the service and especially the food quality is off the charts. The best fries w aioli dip, tomato soup, Petrale sole and coq au vin
Food and service were wonderful as usual. We felt very safe virus wise. The tables are well spaced. Staff were all observing all required safety features. It was truly outdoor dining with all the patio sides rolled up.
It was good to back out to lunch after a year away.
The food was fine, but the service was poor. They had us wait ~25 min past our reservation and were rude on multiple occasions.
I don’t think anything stood out for our group other than the butter lettuce and duck liver mousse. We had the Dungeness crab soufflé, escargots, Coq au vin with butter noodles, and prime rib. For comparison, we had Bouchon bistro the next day and thought the French food there was much better!
Bistro Jeanty is a long time favorite which never disappoints. Quality of food and service has stayed consistent over the years.
Fantastic as always!! That's part of this place's wonder - the food is so consistently good!!! Tried the crispy pigs feet in mustard sauce! It is prepared by braising, separating the meat from bone, reshaped, breaded and deep-fried. Wonderful!!!
My husband and I had a wonderful lunch date at Bistro Jeanty - so many delicious dishes to chose from. We couldn’t resist the signature tomato soup and salad Lyonnaise to start - followed by steak frites and the special pasta with lobster and a whisky cream
Sauce to dream of. The wines and service were excellent as well!
Looking forward to our next date lunch there!
Very pleasant dining experience in the outdoor covered and heated patio. We had the mussels, sole and steak frites. All were outstanding and the mussels were plentiful. Service was attentive but not intrusive.
One of the best restaurants in the Bay Area (no gray area) . . . not to mention the closest restaurant you’ll find to a stellar bistro in Paris, France.
They offer all of the classic French bistro dishes . . . combined with stellar upbeat service, great wine list and a full bar = you’ll be talking about Bistro Jeanty for many years to come !!!
No, we do not own the restaurant (LOL)
Pictured is the absolutely unreal creamy tomato soup in a flaky puff pastry . . . amazing rack of Lamb . . . and an over the top chocolate bread pudding with a scoop of cherry/chocolate chunk ice cream.
If you’re looking for a memorable meal (not just a place to eat) Bistro Jeanty will crush it out of the park.
There is a beauty and joy to the fact that some things never change. Usually derided as “Same s*&t, another day”, in a world of turmoil, tumult and unwanted and unscheduled change, it is truly wonderful to enjoy a routine luxury.
I’ve enjoyed a many a meal at Bistro Jeanty and so happy to report that the experience is as genuine, authentic and delicious as ever. Add to that a blissful sense of liberty and freedom to be dining in one of your favorite restaurants...HEAVEN.
Great staff – our waiter made a great suggestion of a “Paper Airplane” cocktail – delicious and fun to try something new. Great meal, great service, great fun. Highly recommend.
Great food. Great vibe. Glad they are still in the business!
Great experience. Service was top notch. Food was delicious. Like the name of the restaurant, it has that Bistro feel. Don’t let it fool you though. We ate at 3 Michelin star restaurants during our trip and Bistro Jeanty was our favorite. We cannot wait to be back. A drink was added to our bill though (that we didn’t order).
Great experience, the service was excellent, and the food was delicious.
Bistro Jeanty is always on point. The food is delicious and a the staff is very friendly. Bartender hit our cocktails out of the park.
Genuinely good bistro fare. Not fancy, but good honest food.
Exceeded expectations all-around.
For an outdoor dining experience it was really comfortable with ample heat lamps and kind service.
During Covid 19 they are only servings outdoors. The first table they gave us was near the exit door. This was too cold for us. After checking our waiter was able to change our table to a warmer spot. Since the seating is very limited we were very impressed with this.
Our Waiter was outstanding! The food was delicious but the soup could have been hotter. We ordered both the tomato and the french onion and neither one was very hot. Otherwise everything was very good.
I loved this place.
Awesome on every level.
Would love to come back again some day.
Amazing experience, yummy food and wonderful service
It’s a special space for me, intimate with ample portions.
The food and service was amazing as usual.
I ordered the sole and it was divine, it came with olive oil mashed potatoes and they were so yummy. I would have liked a vegetable with the dish, like asparagus. Just felt like something was missing from my plate.
A Yountville institution. Consistent food and great service. Lot's of new items on the menu. Try it ,,, you will be hooked.
Bistro Jeanty never disappoints, the ambiance, even in Covid times, is so nice. The food is always special and the service is excellent.
Thanks to you and your staff for providing a wonderful experience in these difficult times.
We have never been disappointed with the food at Jeanty. If you have not tried the pike dumplings you must! Everything we've had there compares well with The French Laundry but the price and ambiance of Jeanty are much friendlier.
Love this place. I've been coming for years and even having to sit outside it did not disappoint. We had dinner and we were comfortable with the outside temperature. Great recommendations from the waiter. My pepper steak was fantastic, as well as the trout salad, and apple tart.
Birthday lunch was awesome. Truffled deviled eggs, ham and cheese soufflé. Will be back again and again
Wait time was quite long for everyone every day. Maybe allow some margins?
That outdoor patio area with heaters is no different from their regular setup, except that only every other table was in use. It was comfortable and warm enough. The food and service were up to their usual high standards. Except for the mask precautions and social distancing it was quite nearly the normal dining experience we were seeking.
Great dining experience.
Love them when they were in SF and I still love them now in Yountville.
