This is the second Bistro Guillaume that has opened its doors, with Guillaume’s original restaurant at Crown Melbourne receiving One Hat in both the 2012 and 2013 editions of The Age Good Food Guide.

We came for our birthday and had a delightful table overlooking the pool. The food and service was exceptional and we will be returning. The best French Onion soup I have ever had . A really, really pleasant experience.

The entrée and main meals were simply awesome. The only downside was my profiteroles dessert which came with ice cold profiteroles which I believe was not just from the ice cream,which was great by the way, The profiteroles were very cold which makes me think they came straight from the fridge I would personally have the profiteroles and the chocolate sauce either warm or at least room temperature with the ice cream. Other that that the ambience was great and the staff very nice.

Special seating request was provided which was great. Initially concerned about noise/crying children from a couple of quite large tables in window alcove areas however this lessened over time. Service was adequate but could have been better. Food was delicious.

We have been here previously and was looking forward to a wonderful night however felt the service did not meet our expectations. We ended up leaving after sitting with empty plates & glasses for over 20 minutes and restaurant did not appear overly busy.

Beautiful venue, impeccable service by both the Maitre D and the waiter. Food was nice, however the gluten free bread looked and tasted like the Coles home brand. The duck was also dry and lacking in flavour. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their food.
