   Arrived on time for our reservation. Even though the new owner was overwhelmed with Open Table reservations that he had no idea existed...he still seated us calmly, pleasantly and promptly, and it was already packed. It was obvious that the staff were incredibly overwhelmed, but our waitress, Tracy, was so friendly and KEPT SMILING. I hope they figure out the Open Table application, but in any case, they worked their derrieres off! We ate great tasting burgers and fries and danced a lot and had a fun evening.

   The service staff looked like they had all just stepped off the set of C- Metal band video shoot. The service was unimpressive. I was told the steak was good, and mine was. My wife's chicken was awful though.

   Good for live bands on Friday & Saturday nights. Not tons of seating. I did make reservations online, I also called and spoke to employee in regards to my reservations prior to us showing up. When we arrived (party of 6) our "reservation" table was a 4-top. We had to "squish" together for seating. I wasn't overly thrilled but nothing much I could do. We still had fun listening to the band, dancing and people watching.

   We love going to Bistro Al Vino - The owner is a gentleman and the staff is friendly. Great place for dancing!

   This was a REALLY odd place to dine. We walked in and (honestly) almost walked right out. The place looks like a dive, smells like it used to be a smokers' heaven, and just looks overall disheveled. But we had read some reviews about the food and decided to stick it out. Well, lo and behold, the reviews were right: the food is pretty darned good. Sooo... if you don't particularly care about looks and are not an OCD germ freak, then, yes, go and have some good food. But--just keeping it real here--this place ain't for everyone.

    Bistro Al Vino is a fun, unique venue having the owner's presence be part of the experience. It has very good food, decent drink prices, some very enjoyable live music, and a good-sized dance floor. It is great having it "in the neighborhood" as an entertainment option.
