Bistro 112 is a neighborhood French Bistro in the center of historic downtown Shepherdstown. It is a favorite of local residents and a haven for travelers passing through - who enjoy the area for its history, theater, music, biking trails, small shops and river activities. The Bistro, decorated in eclectic art, offers creative French food at affordable prices. Built in 1830, the Bistro has several dining areas: front bar, upstairs salon or outdoor patio. We prepare local ingredients into French favorites such as steak frites, escargot, roasted chicken, salad nicoise, house made soups and rich desserts. Rooms are available for private events.

Friendly, helpful staff. As a measure of any French themed restaurant, the bread with its flavored butters was quite good. A nice range of regular menu options as well as interesting specials. We chose two regular menu items and two specials. All were nicely prepared with portion sizes just about right. Wines by the glass and bottle were well chosen to compliment the menu. Our desert was shared, quite rich. Closed out the evening with a cappuccino. We noticed that a small bar that could seat four people was full offering a walk-in option; although on a Tuesday evening table were available. Worth noting that like so many restaurants here, parking is on the street.

This restaurant is exceptional and a wonderful spot in this little town. The inside decor is warm, cozy, and inviting while the outside patio is really special! I was vey impressed with the fans and awnings everywhere to keep customers cool and comfortable outside. The food is creative and wonderfully made! The staff is very friendly and attentive. Will return again and again!

Lovely small dining rooms in an historic building. Attentive service. Menus somewhat limited, but all is cooked to perfection.

This restaurant is located in a 19th century building and is charmingly decorated. We reserved a table on the second floor which was a quieter area than the first floor. The wait staff was very attentive, the food delicious, and the ambience comfortable. We will go back.
