One of Houston’s original restaurants, Birraporetti’s opened in 1974 with the slogan “A great Italian Restaurant…A heck of an Irish bar.” For almost 40 years, Birraporetti’s has been the place to gather on a date, celebrating with friends and family, for happy hour or before or after the theater.
We are noted for our award-winning stone oven pizzas, pastas such as lobster ravioli, & delicious main courses including hand-carved beef filet & fresh seafood. And don't leave without trying our signature Frozen Bellini’s, Irish Coffee, chocolate chip cheesecake, tiramisu, or the berries & cream.

Sunday Brunch had a good and tasty variety, Bloody Mary’s were great. Wait staff exceptional, as usual.

Always an excellent choice before the theatre. The ambience and food are excellent. This last time our service was less than desirable. Our server was not very attentive. She came and asked for our order twice as if she had never taken it. This happened twice even after we ordered an appetizer. We were charged for more than we ordered and she never brought us a corrected bill. Because we were close to showtime we paid the incorrect tab and left. In our experience here, this is not the standard, but it was disappointing.

We had a great dinner before going to the theater. Paco was the best waiter and the bus boy was so nice. I’m never disappointed.

Visited 3 weeks ago on a Sunday and was allowed to order from the menu rather than partake in the buffet. Well, this Sunday, I was told the menu was limited and only able to order on one side; appetizers and salads. Only the buffet was available. Offers on the menu buffet were cold,meat was tough..terrible experience. Only saving grace was the crème brûlée, which was delicious. Chose the restaurant because of the proximity to the Alley. Never again. There are other restaurants.

Waiter, Marco, was getting orders wrong. Also he was very inattentive. We had to track him down for drink order and again to order entrees. Not a great night out when we had to be so involved in getting orders into kitchen and had to keep asking for items.
