Our meal here was incredible. I had a Pearl Diver Martini(perfect) and then started with the charred edamame and fluke tartare. Both dishes were unbelievably amazing. So flavorful and beautiful. And then we had the Israeli cous cous and scallops. A perfect dish that we couldn’t stop eating. The different subtle flavors made for a gorgeous entree. We finished with an Asian inspired panna cotta and a “KitKat” macha ice cream. I’m not easily impressed and find a lot restaurants mediocre at best. I’ve not written a review before but I had to. Wonderful.

Best food I’ve had in Montauk. Above average quality and prep. Best halibut ever. Ordinary edamame brought to its best level. Couldn’t stop eating them. Sourdough bread and spread - perfect. The effort shows. Lovely ambiance and very cool dinnerware. Chef is outstanding.

As advertised, Japanese ingredients cooked in French style. Really innovative dishes, reasonably priced, great staff.

Stellar lunch spot. Service was solid and while the outside is unsuspecting, the inside is so charming. Get the truffle prosciutto sandwich

Loved everything about The Bird ... especially Robbie who served us when we were there for breakfast on May 21. We used to go to Bird on the Roof when it was just breakfast and also a clothing store (!) and always like it. Looking forward to having dinner there sometime. Also LOVE the music that is playing (in addition to there being live music sometimes). Keep up the great work and food!

Bird on the Roof offers a variety of dinning options and for the first time we experienced their dinner. The setting & ambiance is welcoming, service very attentive and the quality of their entrees excellent. Overall a wonderful place to enjoy dinner in Montauk. Lynne & Craig Montauk NY & Madison CT
