El bar y restaurante Birch's se mudó oficialmente a Long Lake. El emblemático edificio en el que se instaló el Birch's albergó en primer lugar al Hansen House en la década de 1960 y luego se convirtió en Billy's Lighthouse, un lugar apreciado por muchos de los habitantes de Long Lake y de las zonas periféricas del oeste. As always, wait staff is exceptional!! We were a tad disappointed with the relish tray this time....it was missing a scoop of potato salad & 1-2 pickled round cherry peppers. Also, the carrot sticks were sliced WAY too large to comfortably eat without breaking off a tooth! Smoked trout spread was tasty. We always look forward to returning.

Birches was wonderful. Open table messed up our reservation but Birches gave a perfect solution, kudos to them!

Superb service and food We adored the waiter we had and he included the manager in a meal that didn’t get put in correctly and they took care of it right away

We have dined at Birches a number of times and love the upstairs dining room, brewery/bar area downstairs and the patio. For Father's Day, we chose to reserve upstairs dining. It was a chilly start to this mid June day so we were pleased with our choice until we were sat at the windows, overlooking the lake, and it was uncomfortably cold. How this was initially handled was not smooth as the Hostess responded to my concern by saying it is 72 degrees (in essence implying that the blowing air I mentioned wasn't an issue). She did resolve the matter and moved us to another table after initially stating she had no other tables. Thereafter our service and food were wonderful. It is a bit pricey but the quality of the food and drinks makes it worth it to have this nicer dining experience.

Our server was outstanding. The food and wine/cocktails were very good. Despite making reservations 6+ weeks before Father's Day, we were seated in the walkway directly in front of where the majority of patrons walked, next to the cash register and the kitchen door. At times, people stood right in front of our food and talked, children with bare feet were carried nearly and much too close to our food/drinks and it was very loud. My family didn't think our seats were so bad, not until it got busy and there was a constant series of people walking, talking and stopping an inch from our food. I spent nearly $300 for 4 of us to eat in a busy hallway.

I LOVE they have a normal brunch menu for Father’s Day. I hate buffets so this was such a nice alternative.
