   Awesome food and service! Everything we ordered was high quality and the service was really good. We got the seaweed salad which I strongly recommend - nice balance of salty/sweet/sour and fresh/light start to our meal. Next was the avocado tempura which was good but not a “must-have” since there wasn’t anything extra special about it. The miso cod was so good! For the main meal, which by this time pretty much full - had the beef udon which was very good - maybe a bit on the salty side for the broth but that beef was very tender and flavorful. The broth had a buttery note to it and it was just all around yummy! My partner ordered the naughty ninja roll and silly billy roll. Both were so good - a lot of food and made really well with fresh fish. So glad we stopped here for dinner during our work trip. Highly recommend!!!

   Upon arriving at Billy Sushi, I was seated at the sushi bar. Normally, I don’t mind bar seating, but the chairs were packed in so tightly that people had to pull their entire chair out, step in front of it, and then slide it back in just to sit down. The space was extremely crowded, making the overall ambiance feel cramped and uncomfortable. Unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. Our waiter seemed overwhelmed and inattentive. It took 15 minutes just to get a refill on my Diet Coke. I understand busy nights, but it felt like we were forgotten more than once. When the waiter did come around, he rushed us through our order, which added to the anxious, unwelcoming atmosphere. To top it off, when we asked to split the check, he told us he couldn’t do that—especially since “Billy,” the owner, was standing nearby and didn’t allow it. Instead, we were told to calculate what we each owed, and he would charge our cards accordingly. We found this very odd, and when we politely asked again, the waiter gave us an unnecessarily rude response. Eventually, he relented and said he could give us individual receipts, but by then, the damage was done. As for the food, I ordered the P.S.D. 19, a waiter recommended nigiri (not on the menu), NoLo YoLo, and Fancy and Furious rolls. The presentation from the sushi chefs was excellent, and they were easily the highlight of the evening—friendly, professional, and clearly skilled. Of the rolls, Fancy and Furious stood out as the best. That said, overall, the sushi quality was just average, especially considering the high price point. In summary, while the sushi chefs were a bright spot, the poor service, chaotic atmosphere, and mediocre food made for a disappointing experience. I expected more from a place with such a reputation.

   We sat at the sushi bar and got to watch the chefs make all of the yummy sushi. The O-toro nigiri and Naughty Ninja roll were awesome!

   Absolutely fantastic experience! The food was so amazing and so fresh. My partner and I spent a good portion of the night trying to figure out how the heck they're getting such fresh, buttery, delicious, high-quality fish in Minneapolis Minnesota. Every bite we had was better than the last. Suheily was an absolute sweet pea and took such good care of us during our meal. She was kind and funny and had exquisite recommendations. The music was upbeat and so fun, and the overall ambiance was just lovely. Definitely expensive, but SO worth it! It is certainly a place we will be adding into our rotation for an awesome date night or celebration of any kind

   Incredible sushi and service! The appetizers were cooked beautifully, the sake was the best I've had, and the sushi rolls are enormous and packed full of good things. They even have a vegetarian roll which is delicious. Not only is the food amazing, but the service is as well. Our server was highly attentive and gave excellent sake recommendations. Highly recommend on all fronts.

   Billy's Sushi was great food and service. The open table app however sucks and took 5 times to get correct.

   One of the best sushi experiences in my life. Everything was unbelievable. Service was awesome. Atmosphere great and the food is just amazing. Great establishment!!!

    Food was delicious, as always, as was the service. Only tiny complaint would be: we were sat by the windows at the front, underneath the air conditioning vents, and a large piece of what can only be described as dead skin and dust fell down from the vents and onto our table. They are up super high in the air, and would be a pain in the neck to clean, but for a $100+ per person dining experience, you kind of don’t expect that kind of thing. Still 8/10 overall and would recommend to everyone who loves sushi.
