Start the night with a Champagne and canapé reception and keep the kids entertained with Adrian Catch, our amazing entertainer. All followed by a sumptuous five course dinner in Blues Brasserie with vocalist Ruby Sayre, then seeing the New Year in with a glass of champagne, disco and a hot toddy and bacon sandwich after midnight. We have used the Big Blue on numerous occasions and always been very pleased with all aspects but this time the food wasn't too good we had the set menu , I ordered the Pork Schnitzel which was very tough couldn't cut it so I left it all. The staff although very polite was not very attentive we asked one member of staff for some water she said she would bring it straight away but never came back , and although we waited quite a while for them to remove the plates and ask for our dessert order we left without it

Food really nice, value for money and staff very pleasant, have stayed at the Big Blue a few times and enjoyed the food there every time both Breakfast and Evening meal

Food value for money and always very good 👍, staff at the hotel are always helpful when needed and the hotel itself is clean and tidy, nothing to complain about, always had a good experience at the Big Blue
