Rustic Southern Italian kitchen with strong influence from Tuscany. All professional staff with over 30 years experience.
"It is most certainly a gourmet establishment with a menu from top to bottom that is exquisitely creative with tastes and flavors and choices that make selections so joyously difficult--and with a wine list to match food and pocketbook. Consider this the now best Italian restaurant in the state. Three cheers for Biagio the chef."

"Concealed jewel, but easily accessible off the parkway. Esteemed staff that goes about taking care of your every need, especially the maitre d'. Exceptional menu with meals that make you crave for more. The homemade pasta dishes are unequaled to any place in the state. This is an elite restaurant that I will entertain my family and my business clients at. Head chef will go above and beyond his means for satisfaction of customer."

I got the impression that being a regular patron makes a difference in the attention and service. Our first time and it took over a half hour to be seated with a reservation. Once seated we were given a basket of bread but then after 20 or so minutes we had to ask two different people for menus. The second person was a waiter that was working in another room. He was kind enough to take our table. He also apologized and offered us a glass of wine each. The food was very good. I would go back to try again and hope service is better next time. That would determine any further visits.

The food was amazing - everything we ordered we loved. We had to get two appetizers, two meals and dessert. It was tough to stop ourselves from ordering more food to taste!

We have been very frequent patrons of this restaurant. We have always had a good experience except on holidays. We were there on Valentines' Day and it was very crowded. The food was good as usual, but the service was very poor. We finally left without ordering dessert because the waiter was gone for so long that we gave up. We had a similar experience on New Years' Eve. I think that they simply can't handle holidays. They get overwhelmed.

I am not from the local area. This is the second time to the restaurant. The first time I was so impressed with the meal that I saved the name and address for future reference if I ever got back to the area. After several years, the opportunity to be back in the area came up.

When it was time for dinner I dug up the name I had saved and headed back. The restaurant was just I had remembered it. Great ambiance, outstanding service and excellent food.

I hope I get another opportunity come back soon.

Service was fair at best. I normally do not have to ask the waiter to check on our order ( it was getting beyond the point of just slow) One of the people at our table ordered a salad and an app and asked for the salad first, which didn't happen and we had to send it back.

We recommended this restaurant to friends whom went with us for an evening meal. We were very disappointed in the evenings experience. Noise levels were extremely high. Plates were clattering next to our ears constantly as we were placed near the kitchen counter were the plates were continually placed in stacks. Shaved brussel sprouts appetizer had absolutely no taste. I think the preparer forgot to put dressing on it. The waiter was very poor at serving us due to his lack of attention and always seemed rushed and disoriented. I had the shrimp and pineapple which I thought tasted good, but ended up becoming ill with upset stomach issues one half hour after eating and for the next two days. All of us were uncomfortable due to the heat coming from the kitchen. I was at the point of sweating most of the time there. Desert was lacking as the waiter forgot to add the hot caramel sauce.
We were sorry we recommended the Biagio's restaurant to our friends, and were completely disappointed, and will not recommend this restaurant again.

We were celebrating the retirement of one husband and the purchasing of a new small business in Connecticut by another husband. Had a wonderful time with great food and great friends!

This is my new favorite restaurant!! My husband and I ate here because a friend gave us a gift certificate. I had heard the restaurant was great, but I thought when quickly reviewing the menu that the dishes seemed a little pricey for Italian so we had never tried it on our own. Well, I wouldn't ever call their food traditional Italian! It was amazingly fresh Italian inspired dishes, with a huge twist of flavors and presentation that will amaze any foodie. The service was on top of everything from keeping water/wine glasses filled, to checking in to make sure we didn't need anything at just the right frequency, and then lastly didn't rush us out the door at all (we sat with our water just chatting when we finished dinner/drinks, and then asked for the check). It was a perfect experience. Can't wait to go back!

I liked this place. It was good but not great. Our waiter and his helpers were very attentive.
It was a little cold in the glass extension we sat in, my guess is hot in the summer.
The food was fresh and the sauces were good. I found the meatball app to be mushy.
I also have a problem with being charged for a refill on an Ice Tea. The glass was rather small, way too much ice so maybe 6oz of tea?
We will give it another shot as they sent us a gift for booking on open table.

We were in a pasta mood and split 3 pasta course. Lobster Ravioli, Truffle Porcini Ravioli, and the Cavatelli. All three were fantastic. Reminded us of some great restaurants we use to frequent in Manhattan. Its great to have Biagios close to home.

Biagio always out does himself. All four of us loved our meals. Osso bucco the best I've ever had, falls of the bone and so much flavor.

Was given a gift certificate to eat at Biagios and decided to try it. I had a reservation and was seated at the bar to eat. Ordered a salda that was very good, the meatball could've used a little bit more flavor and the chicken dish was ok, I've had better. So been there done that and wasn't moved as to where I would say that I want to eat there again. Overall experience was ok.

We were seated just under the kitchen window where plates were being piled and were banging in our ears. It was very difficult to hear our dinner conversation with all the noise from the kitchen. Restaurant had plenty of open tables and I couldn't understand why we were seated there. Not pleased with our seating arrangement at all. Food was ok, portions on the small side. Not sure I would return.
