Wait time for food was over an hour
Noise level when we arrived was quite high, with a couple of large groups. Service was very attentive and professional. Entrees were very good indeed - fig & mascarpone & walnut ravioli & pollo saltimboca was what we ordered.
However, the desserts we had, creme brulee & cannolis were disappointing. Too heavy and too sweet.
This was a great find. I discovered it while looking for gluten free restaurants and was delighted with our experience. The food was very good -- I particularly enjoyed the espresso martini and the risotto made with Belgian chocolate (you can tell I am a chocoholic) and our server was extremely friendly, pleasant and helpful. A big plus for a Waltham restaurant is that it has its own parking lot. We will be back!
Bar none, Biagio’s is my favorite restaurant. They deliver the best quality cuisine while also giving you a dining experience that feels exclusively focused on you and your party (no matter the size). Each item on the menu is delicious (my favs being the Broccoli Rabe/Sausage eggrolls, Lobster Ravioli, Sorbet, Chicken Brick...I could go on and on) Anthony, Joey and the rest of the team are fabulous. I have dined in restaurants all over the world and Biagio’s wins every time HANDS DOWN!
Everything was wonderful! The food was delish, service was awesome, atmosphere very cool. Love it! Can’t wait to go back. Hidden gem!
Lovely evening, very good food, great service. Friendly atmosphere nice section of food items. Was surprised by the dessert menu as I'm not a dessert person but ate the mini canolis with no problem. We'll be back
Love the Restaurant. Party of three and we sat at the bar. Audrey was a bartender. Very knowledgeable, attentive and a lot of fun. We started with appetizers and of course our favorite was the Rhode Thailand Calamari. A secret sauce that I have never experienced before. Thumbs up to that one. Salads plentiful and fresh - not out of the refrigerator pre-made like most places. Dinner consisted of specials - Veal Braccotini absolutely tender, juicy and flavorful. Frutti DiMare a ton of seafood over a nice bed of linguine. And lastly the Salmon Dijon, best tasting Salmon I have had in a long time. Just the right touch of dijon infusion. And of course who says no to dessert. Dessert sampler was perfect. We will be back again soon. Thank you.
We had a very pleasant waiter Ryan.
Delicious food and excellent service! This is my 4th time eating there and I haven’t been disappointed.
I really appreciated the service, and everything came out freshly made. The waiter did not take the dinner order until the appetizer came out, so there was certainly no rush.
This was not a 'red sauce Italian' restaurant. The menu was somewhat small but varied. The two entrees we had were good sized. The creme brulee dessert could have been torched a little more. Although I personally wouldn't know the difference, the glass of wine that was ordered was reported to be very very good.
Great experience. Food was excellent. Service was friendly and knowledgeable. Beautiful restaurant with a small bar area. Great location with a parking lot. Definitely will return.
We love Biagio - parking available, they take reservations and the food and service are excellent. The only complaint - and it is just one -it’s a bit loud for having conversation. Highly recommend.
Always an excellent experience when we visit Biagio's. I tried the surf and turf special. Shrimp, scallops and filet mignon. Steak was perfect, the scallops and shrimp were cooked just right - the asparagus, which was the side, were large but tender and tasty. The server was very attentive to us. It is a bit of a drive for us to Biagio's but I find it so worth it.
Went with family and the food was amazing. I had fig ravioli that was over the top. Yum!
This restaurant is consistently good with a friendly, knowledgeable waitstaff. Plenty of free parking and in season, a beautiful rooftop deck for cocktails.
We had a great meal with friends. We had 2 extra people join us and the waitstaff accommodated us quickly, without a fuss, even though it was busy. Our appetizers and meals came out hot and were delicious. We were too full for dessert because the portions were very generous.
Overall we had an excellent time.
Great food, service and ambiance as always.... I’ve never had a bad experience at Biagio.
Waited for food for 1 hour. Told the owner and he gave us nothing and did nothing. No clear explanation or extravagent apology.
Overall great experience for delicious food and exceptional service.
Went here for first time, decided to sit at the bar- so glad we did. Wonderful service, quick to respond to our needs. Helpful in choices- let us order off the menu, friends with special dietary needs - no questions asked.
Food was delicious- we all had their pasta ( home made) - sauce was out of this world. Salads were great also. Then we tried the peanut butter pie desert on their recommendation- YUM
Will def go back!!
We ordered mussels for an appetizer and when we received the mussels, they were not thoroughly cooked. We had to send it back. There was no compensation for this inconvenience which demonstrates poor customer service - no recovery. Very disappointing. The entrees were very good. I'm torn on whether I would recommend going back since it will be a long time before I return to this establishment. It left a bad taste.
Very good food and amazing service. We were served by Ryan and he had very good insights about the ingredients used, best dishes etc.. he even fixed me a cocktail closest to a peach Bellini as they didn’t have peach purée that day! The mussels are to die for! Yummy food and great service .. will definitely visit again!
I was fortunate to introduce two business associates (and friends) to Biago (as a former business associate and now friend has introduced me.) We had an excellent dinner in a quiet corner including superb service. Parking behind the restaurant simplifies dining, too.
Our appetizer was wonderful, and our entrees memorable.
Great experience. The food and service was excellent!
I always love eating at Biagio. The food is always good. The service was excellent. The menu has lots of healthy options. When I bring a friend for the first time to Biagio they leave happy to have learned about a wonderful restaurant.
Very nice! Host and waiters were very nice. Food was delicious and filling.
Food was pretty good, service was lacking for the most part
Our food was fine for the most part but our server was just lousy. He was nice and that was fine but would forget to bring things he asked if we wanted to our table (cheese, pepper, checking in to see how everything was and if we needed anything) or standing over at the bar with coworkers or at a table (I guess he knew the family that came in) , rather than get what we ordered. It sounds small but we ordered desert and coffee and be coffee came way before desert. Small thing but the small things add up. Also would have looked nicer if all servers and staff matched, some were more dressed up than others so it was a bit odd (but not a huge issue just an observation)
Food was good. Lobster ravioli was tasty. Service was non existent with less then20 people in restaurant. No need to go back.
It was our first time although we are Waltham residents. What made the evening perfect was our server Mark. He really went over and beyond to make the experience enjoyable. Two thumbs up.
The food and service were amazing! I would highly recommend Biagio’s for any occasion.
Our server Mark was awesome, very friendly and so courteous! We loved the vegetarian options, everything was great!
The food was not that great. The waiter was not to pleasant. Overall, one of the owners saw us leaving and ignored us. Horrible spot for New Years Eve dinner. The waiter came to our table and said did you want desert? Everyone else he gave a menu to without hesitation. I will never go here again.
Fabtastic pasta dishes! Might be the best lobster ravioli we ever had.
A few hiccups with the service on New Year’s Eve but our waiter was wonderful and more than made up for it.
Service was excellent. He was friendly, professional, and very attentive. The food was very fresh and it made me feel that I was sitting in my mother’s kitchen. If you want good Italian food this place is in the top ten.
We had been here once for a Christmas party and thought the food and ambience were wonderful. This time when we came with another couple, while the service was excellent and the ambience was aesthetically pleasing, it was quite cold in the restaurant even though we were not sitting by an outside wall. The food was mediocre, with very little taste.
Just wonderful. Food is incredible as well as ambiance and service. Cheers!!
Unfortunately the room was cold and drafty..Will only return in good weather.
The service was a bit off due to a couple of large parties in the restaurant that evening, but the food was hit or miss. We started with the arancini which were actually quite good. The chicken parm however was not. The chicken had a very "off" texture, as if it were frozen more than once- almost rubbery. The pasta was chewy but not in a good way. I don't think I'd try Biagio again.
Fantastic! We loved our server Mark. Food was excellent!
Attentive wait staff, timely drink order, cold crisp salads, delicious entrees, scrumptious dessert. Biagio’s never disappoints.
