"Betts" is a tribute to Elizabeth Schofield, wife of Captain Levi Schofield and our namesake. The space is cozy yet airy and feels like a mix between a restaurant and a very cool home that you’d happily want to reside in all day. Betts is inspired by American dishes we all know and love but reinvented with a thoughtful approach. The menu focuses on freshness, quality and whole foods put out from a predominantly scratch kitchen. It's easy to eat healthy here and it's just as easy to indulge- the menu has something for everyone.

Unfortunately, probably due to the baseball game crowd, the experience was poor. We got there at 11am and waited for an hour for food service. We did not receive our beverages until 45 minutes in. And this was made worse by the lack of empathy from the staff, especially as we had a 5-year old child with us. I would recommend if the restaurant can not handle this type of crowd on a ballgame day, then do not accept OpenTable reservations.

Been to this restaurant several times and loved my experience. This time might be a fluke but the noise level was out of control (sound deafening titles would be a good investment). I think my biggest disappointment was the $9 thimble size French Onion dip served with Lay’s chips. Really…you can do better than that.

Arrived late with narrow window to order and eat before theater. Receptionist and waitress both said “no guarantees, we are slammed,” but somehow food was on table in under 10 minutes. THANK YOU for going the extra mile. We’ll be back.

We had a wonderful experience at Betts! We went for an early dinner and the food was amazing as was the service. We were checked on often and asked about everything. The hostess was equally as friendly upon entering. The food is so fresh and well prepared. We will go back. Can’t wait to try the breakfast food as well.

Our server was very nice, but the food was a little disappointing. I ordered avocado toast with the smoked trout and when the toast was brought out without the trout, I was told they would bring it out right away (it's smoked, its not like it has to be cooked). I waited for 10 minutes for them to bring it out. So not the greatest experience/portions for the price, but I would come back if I was just getting drinks.

Our lunch and dinner menu includes a Wagyu Bolognese with house made Gnocchi, Blackened Shrimp with Polenta and Broccoli Raab, and a Crab Roll with brown butter crab salad, tobiko, on a grilled split top roll. We also have a new Vegan Grilled Caesar Salad grilled romaine, marinated garbanzo beans, and vegan Caesar dressing and a vegan Roasted Seasonal Vegetable entree with black bean puree and a herb chutney. Server was very friendly and attentive, and she offered great suggestions for food and drink. Happy hour drinks were great and reasonably priced. Our food was very good. Highly recommend the smoked trout, the lamb lollipops and the wagyu meatballs. Will definitely go back.

You may have noticed that we have a new Happy Hour menu for food as well as the cocktails you enjoyed. We offer Happy Hour at our bar Mondays through Fridays from 3 to 6pm. This new menu includes Avocado Toast with Cherry Tomatoes and Multi Grain Bread, French Onion Deviled Egg Toast with Pickled Red Onions and Fresh Dill, a Braided Pretzel, Oyster Mushrooms Toast with Goat Cheese, Arugula, and Truffle Butter. We dined at Betts prior to a Guardians game. It was a very quick walk to the stadium and the parking was so convenient. After reading previously posted reviews we allowed plenty of time because the service was very slow. Our wedge salads were served in tiny bowls which made it very difficult to cut. Otherwise, the food was pretty good. The atmosphere was very nice, just a bit noisy.

We can get very busy before a game or event and strive to get all of our guests out quickly. When we are full of people it can also be noisy in the restaurant. We are working on sound dampening measures. Again, my apologies. You may have noticed our new cocktail menu. It includes a 'Smoked Mango' margarita with mezcal, and a peach Manhattan called 'Ike Its Peach Man'. The latter drink was named after Ike, a Kimpton resident's very friendly golden retriever.
