"Betts" is a tribute to Elizabeth Schofield, wife of Captain Levi Schofield and our namesake. The space is cozy yet airy and feels like a mix between a restaurant and a very cool home that you’d happily want to reside in all day. Betts is inspired by American dishes we all know and love but reinvented with a thoughtful approach. The menu focuses on freshness, quality and whole foods put out from a predominantly scratch kitchen. It's easy to eat healthy here and it's just as easy to indulge- the menu has something for everyone.

The wait staff was very polite and nice, and food was good, but cocktails were so so, and everything took forever to come out. Id say we waited 20 minutes for our drinks and then another 10 after that for the appetizers, but we ordered them together. No one checked on us in between the long waits either. We thought it would be a quick bite to eat before a show, but took 2 hours!

Sorry to tell, disappointment, service terrible, 2 times brought the wrong dish, the food not as expected, the only thing good was the coffee although i have to stand up to get the sugar and stirrer to the coffee station, the did not have enough waitress and they do need training, about the food I ordered avocado toast which was brolied egg cut into pieces and mash avocado over a bread with some cherry tomatoes diced in half and picked red onions, the egg wasn’t over the toast and it made it hard to eat, also not very tasty. I will not recommend it. Sorry there is a lot to improve. It was very busy day a lot of customers.

We were staying at the adjoining hotel and had 3 meals here. Each was the same— Great food, but terrible service. The staff are awkward at best, completely inattentive at worst— approaching the table and staring at us but not speaking, forgetting entire components of the order. After discussing our poor experiences with the hotel staff, we learned that the restaurant is completely unaffiliated with the hotel (which is Kimpton branded and fairly upscale) and is known to cause issues for its guests due to the poor service and rude staff. A few strange things to note: 1. The breakfast “hash” is just roasted potatoes. No special seasoning, no veggies or peppers or onions. Just potatoes. 2. They don’t have any bottles of ketchup, just packets. When they were brought to us during breakfast the packets were sticky and covered in what I assume was syrup, as if we had dug them out of a bucket at a cafeteria. 3. They have an espresso machine and can churn out your typical lattes, etc. but be wary of this as your server is also your barista, and based on the quality of beverages served, it seems they have no training in this whatsoever. I would potentially pickup takeout from here or order room service at the Kimpton but would not go back to the dining room based on service alone.

We ate here for brunch on a Sunday. Sat outside cause it was a nice day, but that means you also have to deal with people revving vehicles on E9th and panhandlers coming up behind you. Most of the food was okay, except my wife's avocado toast that had little avocado and her poached egg that wasn't really done right and she said tasted like vinegar. Service was generally good, but the meal was not a good value. Almost $100 for four and nobody ordered drinks. I was upcharged for a gluten free "bun" with was just two slices of bread. Unlikely to return.

Stopped here before a show at the playhouse. I was a little disappointed in the beer selection, but still found something to order. Overall the food was good, but maybe a little overpriced. Staff was nice and attentive. All that being said, I would go back if I was in the area.

Was recommended as nice dinner after a ballgame and it was fine. Definitely not luxury and service was OK but not great. The redeeming factor was lots of healthly options on a varied menu and when the food arrived it was quite tasty.

We enjoy the atmosphere and menu at Betts. Initially our pre-Guardians game party was 4 people, but after our reservations were made and food was ordered, our party grew to 8 people. We asked the staff if they could accommodate our extras and they were more than happy to change our table.

Upscale diner atmosphere. Service was great, brunch food was quite good and at a reasonable cost. It's definitely worth your time for a decent breakfast/brunch meal if you are anywhere near the area.

Great location before a ball game, especially for people watching (plus, it’s loud inside, so the patio is a good option). Charcuterie board was a good start and the bowls (Poke, Tokyo and Calabrese) and Vegan Caesar were delicious and filling. Our server was pleasant, but bar service was nowhere to be found. The restaurant was pretty busy and I might have given them a pass on the slow drinks (they arrived with our meals, after the charcuterie board was long gone) except that the table seated 20 minutes after us received their drinks almost immediately.

Should’ve researched better to know this was in a hotel. It seems to be focused more on brunch than dinner, and it’s pretty apparent. They seemed to be understaffed even though there weren’t many customers, and they were oddly out of a bunch of things. They didn’t tell us that my dish couldn’t be made until we had already been waiting on it for 25 minutes. This is to no fault of our server as they did everything they could to make it up to us. I’d go back for drinks and the service, but I’d skip dinner here altogether.

First time visiting.started with the Charcuterie board. Standard but still tasty. Hubby had Delmonico steak and I had Salmon. Bummed but they sold out of the Brussels sprouts. Waitress was super nice. Hubby said steak was absolutely great. Also said the cauliflower needed more seasoning. Salmon was good but the veggies had too many peppers for my taste. Overall a good time.

Server was nice and attentive, but service was slow, and we needed to make it to a concert. When we tried to order food, we were told the server wasn’t permitted to put in our food order for at least 20 minutes because the kitchen was backed up, and there was no way of knowing how long it would take for the food to get to us after that. This was after we had already been in the restaurant for 40 minutes, while they continued to seat other tables they clearly could not accommodate. They hung their servers out to dry and we left without eating.

The place is really cool! It was our first time, and we got really excited seeing it as we walked up, it has a really nice vibe. There was a really long wait for the food, at least 40 minutes. It all tasted good though

We’ve eaten at Betts before and it has been good. This occasion was a disaster. One of our four meals never arrived, and another was completely wrong, not as ordered. The server did not charge for the messed up meals. It will be a while before we give them another try.

The staff was overworked or unprepared. Ordered 2 apps, only 1 came out and it was different than described and not good. Dinner did not come until an hour later, with the second app. Server was reminded of a soup order, and at that point we were told they were out. Meals were average to just bad. The summer fried chicken was 2 pieces of boneless chicken baked to completely dry. Peach chutney was 3 slices of pickled peach. Cheese on one pasta dish was a coagulated mess

Service was good, food was ok but didn’t appreciate being seated in the doorway. When I asked for another table ( many were available) I was told they were all reserved. Interesting because I booked our reservation two weeks ago. Overall, restaurant was ok, but most likely the first and last time at Bett’s because of being seated in the doorway. Could understand if we walked in at the last minute. Not certain how/why they take reservations. Big miss!
