   Bestia is and has been for years my favorite restaurant in LA. I maintain that the best dish in the entire city is Bestia’s bone marrow. They scrape it from the bone at your table and mix it with a full flavored and tender spinach gnochetti so that you will think you are eating the manna of the gods. Their pork chop is also the best in the city. I always sit at the counter in front of the pizza oven so I can watch the preparation of pizzas and the grilling of several dishes. Bestia not only grills their pork chop on each side, but also on end, and they serve it sliced and surrounded by tender radicchio leaves. Bestia’s pastas are also to die for. My current favorite is the cavatelli alla norcina because of its delicious black truffle flavor, but the corn agnolotti is so delicious that it also will bring tears to your eyes. All of the pizzas are cooked to perfection so that it is difficult to choose a favorite. Their menu also offers several desserts, all of which are fabulous, prepared with care and unique flavors that are surprising and satisfying. I am Italian and coming to this restaurant is like coming home. Although some people complain about the noise level, the hustle and bustle is so wonderful to hear so many people enjoying such amazing dishes, and the food is prepared before your eyes almost as if it is a synchronized ballet, as dish after dish is delivered to the expediters according to their requests. Rarely can a restaurant deliver so much entertainment, and so many delicious choices with precise perfection time after time. And the staff is wonderful, friendly, professional, and able to make you feel like you are the most important person in the room. When I left the last time I visited, the host said goodbye to me by name, making me feel so appreciated, when in fact, it was I who was most appreciative of yet another perfectly prepared and absolutely delicious meal.

   I liked the architecture, decor and ambience of this restaurant, but it is VERY loud. A friend and I went on a Monday night in August and it was packed, which testifies to its popularity. The food was above average but not Michelin quality. We had the bread with ricotta, a pasta dish and the strawberry crostata for dessert. The pasta was the best dish, solid but not superb. Service was fine but nothing exceptional. Would I recommend it? Sure. Would I go back? Probably not but only because LA has other equally good Italian restaurants- this place was definitely worth the visit.

   First time at Bestia and will absolutely return. Our server was Jason and he was fantastic - great recommendations (food and wine), super helpful and genuine and checked in on us regularly but not overwhelming. We ordered everything - melon and prosciutto, mussels and clams (so good), herb caesar salad, burrata pizza, buckwheat tagliatelle, lobster squid ink - which might have been the best squid ink pasta dish I've ever had. It does have a kick with chilis in it. Would go back and order all of those again.

   We sat outside in the courtyard which was much more quiet. Highly recommend sitting there if you want a quiet dinner! Food and wine was excellent.

   The waitress was very attentive and great personality. She explained the menu clearly and was patient with our questions. The food was great. We appreciate the food was served with enough spacing and did not feel rushed. I recommend anyone who wants to bring guests from out of town.

   After coming here for over 10 years, Bestia is still one of my favorite restaurants in LA. Each dining experience here is great and there isn’t a single dish that’s not super delicious. I have regular cravings for the roasted marrow bone and cavatelli!

   Worst service I’ve ever experienced in my life cannot believe how the hostess Stan treats people like that and this restaurant gets patrons

   Everything was perfect, except for the music would be extremely loud at times where we would have to practically yell at one another in order to have a conversation.

    The entire night was amazing. From the valet, to the hostess, to the wait staff and the sommelier everyone was top notch and made for an exceptional dining experience. The food was beyond my expectations and I cannot wait to go back
