Obnoxious attitude by host and some servers. They say, in effect, “We are always booked full so don’t need to treat guests well.”
Bestia is without a doubt one of our fav restaurants!
We've eaten here twice .. once pre-Covid and once post-Covid .. both times SO GOOD!
The staff is above and beyond and the food, ooohhh the food. U N B E L I E V A B L E. We had Lobster Crostino, Margherita Pizza, Ravioli, Mussels, Mushroom/Chestnut Agnolotti & 2 desserts. The flavors were very different but equally amazing - so much so that each of us liked a different dish 'best'. The drinks are good too but really, the food and the servers are the stars!
Bestia, if you make your reservations easier for us to get, we will be here frequently. If you don't, we'll still be back ((just not as often)). THANK YOU for providing such an amazing restaurant experience.
Bestia was surprisingly below average for us. Better service, food and experience elsewhere.
Great vibe, amazing service, and delicious food, as always!
One of my favs in LA. Def try the beef tartare crostini
This was by far the best dining experience I have ever had! Definitely coming back for more!
Always our destination for a special occasion- ON POINT!
It’s overpriced and food is too salty, not worth the value . 3 people spent around $500
Bestia continues to impress us. Everything was perfect, taste delicious and staff are all friendly! I wish I could eat more so I can order more things to try.
Ambiance amazing, servers and staff amazing. Dish presentation can use some work. We ordered medium rib eye, we got it rare,....disappointed. The drinks were ok, nothing stood out unfortunately. For a $160 steak, I expected more. Desert was ok. Again, didn’t feel it was worth the money we paid and the food wasn’t what I expected. The seasoning of the steak was great and on point. The texture and “wagyu” rib eye, sure didn’t taste like wagyu. The chicken gizzards were very good, had great seasoning and the beets gave it a great balanced flavor. The caramelized onions that came with the steak were good, a bit over powering but were still very good. We ordered expresó martinis, couldn’t finish it, way too strong with liquor and was not well balanced. Too much hype on this place in my opinion. Staff and waiter were amazing and super kind and attentive.
The service was outstanding but the food was good. We ate at Bestia in 2019 and again in 2020, and the food was a lot better then. I'm not sure what has changed, but its noticeable. I hope it was just 1 bad day.
Fantastic. All around delicious food and excellent service
Hands down theeeee best restaurant experience in all of Los Angeles. Phenomenal food and sensational service. The food was spectacular! I’m pretty picky about my food and i’m not exaggerating when I say this food was to die for.
Amazing! So yum!
The food was good until the branzino which was way too salty
The food is TO DIE FOR! Amazing flavors and presentation.
Love the food. Nice outdoor dining area.
The food is always amazing BUT, we had the best waiter that made the whole experience that much better.
Was more raucous than I expected. Food was incredible. Thank you.
Chef Ori Menashe is the most talented human being, every bite at Bestia is no less than amazing, we have been dining here for years and always enjoy the food, service and atmosphere Best restaurant in LA.
Food and drinks: all EXCEPTIONAL. Great service by our waitperson, Shalimar (sp?). It was my 70th birthday so couldn't think of a better place to celebrate.
Good was awesome, wait staff was excellent and Covid protocols make you feel safe in these uncertain times.
We had a group with small children so the noise level was perfect. The sceneries was not the best but hard to be seated in small patio so overflow table for our group of 6.
The best thing on the menu is the ravioli. You’re going to need 2 orders of it.
The high top seating was very uncomfortable
from the host stand to my server... AMAZING! I come to Bestia often, but this was my 2nd encounter having Kiana as my server, she is outstanding! Gave the best wine and food recommendations. Everything we ordered was amazing! Will be back very soon!
Waited 20 minutes outside after our reservation time , had to ask the host to seat us it’s been a long time his response, sorry we are busy ( yet people got sat before us that arrived after)
Food was good , but the service wasn’t the best at all.
So good!!! Everytime Bestia never fails to bring the best of everything
As soon as I walked into the restaurant, I already impressed with the level of service provided. We were warmly greeted and taken to our table. The food blew my mind! Everything we ate was an instant hit.
After months of waiting, we were finally able to get into Bestia. It was truly worth the wait. I am usually against the culinary elitist line "we decline any substitutions" but at the end of the day, it didn't affect our order.
We started with the caesar with fresh herbs. Nice though my son hated the squid ink bread crumbs that were strewn all over the salad.
Next, we had the scallops which were RAW. We didn't expect them to be uncooked but the flavor combination was tremendous!
We had the Proscuitto pizza. The crust was good but the meat was uncut and created a sloppy slice.
We had two kinds of pasta that were good. One with sausage and the other with the lamb ragu.
Our second was the branzino. Very moist, soft, and well seasoned.
We finished with the creamsicle as the chocolate cup. The chocolate cup is the way to go.
Bestia at one time was one of the best restaurants in Los Angeles went on Sat night placed was packed and all 4 people thought the meal was just mediocre, not sure if its just the timing with Covid or they have lost there touch all there food was lacking flavor. They need to change it up a little and work on the menu.
Excellent restaurant, food, service, and ambiance! Server also made excellent recommendations of items to order that pair well with what we had in mind. Definitely coming back!
Food was great as usual, but the service was horrible.
The food was absolutely delicious. The service was fine, but it felt a little rushed. Individuals kept interrupting our conversation to ask if they could remove something or check in on how we were doing. The Bone Marrow Gnocchetti was incredible and you have to try the chocolate tart!
First time dinning out in over a year and had family in town so wanted to show them LA and the amazing food culture
Glad that the Bestia is open again. What a great place the creative and innovative dishes are always a treat. Service was friendly and attentive and the food just perfect. Again, very happy that they are open as it is one of our favorites.
Best food and most creative chef im town.
Did not disappoint. We loved each dish and kept ordering more. Delightful for vegetarians and meat eaters alike. Highly recommend
Got seated outside next to a puddle the valet drivers kept driving through every thirty seconds.
Always a great meal! Characters to fill out space to meet the minimum
