BE.STEAK.A is an American steakhouse with fine dining Italian roots. Founded by Chef/Owner Jeffrey Stout of Orchard City Kitchen. Chef Patrick Capurro runs the helm under Chef's Stouts watchful eye. BE.STEAK.A prides itself in lavish extravagant touches that invite the guest into a special kind of restaurant. Our friendly staff are professional seasoned veterans who look at hospitality as an art. We feature both an a la carte menu as well as a prix fixe tasting menu. BE.STEAK.A has two private dining rooms for larger parties doing events as well as two outdoor patios. Our cocktail program and bar are second to none. We have one of the largest selections of Vintage Amaro. Wine Director Corey Reis has crafted a well thought out list. We offer lunch Friday and Saturday. Sunday - we host a grand brunch buffet which is a great way to spend a Sunday with family and friends. We invite you to visit on the bay areas best restaurants as well as one of the best steakhouses.

Overall amazing experience. The food was excellent. I hesitate to criticize at all, but there were a couple of things that weren't as smooth or as polished as I would have expected. Of course, the missteps were immediately rectified to our satisfaction as soon as they were pointed out, but the lovely "ballet" performed by the staff wasn't quite as flawless as we'd experienced previously. Reminders were needed for our drinks order and a side. Drinks order was served incomplete - the cocktail came out for one of our party, but the wine was forgotten for others. Our truffle fries came out late - well after the rest of the entrees and sides were served. Besides these very minor stumbles, the experience was wonderful. The hostess (we missed getting her name) was lovely and very welcoming, and we very much appreciated the sweet touches of the birthday card, cake and candle, and gift side. We will definitely be back again.

Unforgettable Dining Experience at be.steaka I’ve dined at restaurants five times the price of be.steaka, but none have left an impression like this one. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with genuine warmth and hospitality that’s become all too rare. Wedad, the hostess, greeted us with such grace and kindness—it felt like we were being welcomed into someone’s home. While we waited briefly for our table, they surprised us with a warm cup of mushroom soup. That simple gesture set the tone for what turned out to be an incredible night. Dean, our server, was equally fantastic—knowledgeable, attentive, and thoughtful without being intrusive. He guided us through the menu and made sure everything came out perfectly. And the food? Absolutely show-stopping. Every bite was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. I’ve had fine dining experiences at much higher price points that didn’t come close to this. be.steaka is more than just a great meal—it’s the kind of experience that reminds you why you love dining out.

We have a great experience every time at Be Steak A amd this time was the same as usual. Great atmosphere, food, bar, service and drinks. Eric and Mike at the bar are fantastic and their cocktails are the best. The prime rib and beef tartare are amazing as usual and we have really been noticing them level up their desserts. The baked alaska surprise for our anniversary was the best baked Alaska I’ve ever had and their tiramisu might be one of the best we have had outside of Italy.

We were celebrating our younger son's birthday. Had a great experience starting from the front desk to the back of the house and in the dining area. Our server was excellent, took us to the kitchen to show the area. The family loved it. Our server was very gracious and friendly. The food was great. My family enjoys a good steak and they said it was one of the best they had.

Hands down one of the best dining experiences ever. Took myself out for a solo birthday dinner to spoil myself, and have zero regrets about any of my choices. From the moment you walk towards the door and it opens automatically for you, to the cup of bone broth at the counter, to the candy bar and tea on the way out - every little detail is thoughtful and flawless. The entire service was fabulous, and everyone was so incredibly friendly, but Bob was extra attentive and helpful in guiding me along the menus. The food - THE FOOD - amazing. The Filet was the best steak I've ever had, but can't neglect to mention the burrata, the mashed potatoes, the wine, the Hula cocktail - it was all so delightful. Grateful for my night here - I think I've just found a new birthday tradition.

A night to remember! Loved each course starting with the delightful cocktails, pasta & all the steaks mouthwatering especially loved the table side charcuterie and desserts.

there is no better brunch in the bay area. from the warm welcome and glasses of prosecco from karlton to the array of savory sides, wonderful cuts of meat, caviar, fresh oysters and delightful desserts, everything is top notch. the service was incredible and the espresso martinis prepared by mike were the best we’ve ever had.
