Santa Rosa, California. Our menu is filled traditional dishes prepared fresh with nothing but the best ingredients to ensure every dish is top notch and true to its burmese roots.
Nice place. Good food. Different but yummy flavors. Was a little under staffed. Lamb was a little overdone. Samosas were delicious.
WOW! I love this place. We celebrated my friends birthday...totally the perfect place.
So delicious! I crave their Tea Leaf salad - ideal for two to split. And the Pumpkin Tofu was so rich without having hardly any fat - the pumpkin alone does it. Great service, wine, beer and non-alc beverages, lovely ambience.
The food was ok. However, there is quite some work to be done about service in this restaurant.
This was our second visit to the restaurant. It takes more than is necessary to get noticed, have the food out after placing an order, or simply clear the table after we were done.
Great food, great service, very clean, especially the restrooms. Staff seems committed to making you feel welcome. I'll definitely return here very soon.
Waiter explained and suggested the menu
Excellent service and delicious food. My first time there, but I'll be back.
A nice environment... friendly service! Had the samosa,s
Rainbow salad, Lamb Curry , and eggplant curry! Great choices and many more left on the menu...to return and try.
Excellent . Love this place. Great food every time. soups, salads, curry, all good. Service was Ok.
The best food I have had in ages! It is all I can think about and can't wait to eat there again soon!
Telling all my friends!
The tableside ginger salad is excellent! I will return the next time I'm in the area.
Food was amazing!
Fabulous food! This restaurant is a wonderful addition to the Santa Rosa food scene, one of the best in the area. We were very sad to see Torch of India leave, but Best of Burma 2 goes a long way to make up for it!
The food was really good but a little pricey.
Also, when I told them I made my reservation thru open table they said they only give open table credits on weekends!? But she would make an exception. I did not know there were restrictions on when you could get credit for use of open table. Is this true?
This was my second time eating at best of Burma 2. I would recommend this to anybody!
We were visiting wine country and we stayed in Santa Rosa, so we decided to give this a try for something different than Thai/Indian dishes. WOW! IT was amazing, a great blend of both Indian/Thai cuisine with its own flare from the Burma region. The server was excellent and was able to speak well about the types of dishes. They serve family style but we ended up with an appy, then two different dishes ourselves and split it and still had a ton to take home. I would highly recommend this place!
Not the best service. A bit confused, a bit slow. Your food will be piping hot. The expediter was phenomenal. The food absolutely mouth watering. The kitchen had it going on. Fast, just off the grill hot. Tremendous value!
Overall: excellent food and service. Pleasantly quieter than most restaurants! Would love to return!
My 2nd time and first for the rest of my group of 6. We will all be back. Love it!!! Congratulations Santa Rosa for expanding variety of ethnic food choices. Please support all new dynamic restaurants, so they stay and prosper.
We received a lot of personal attention from the manager. We were allowed to try the wine and specialty drinks before ordering them. It was my friend's birthday and she was given her choice of free desserts. They also brought us extra plates and utensils to split items. I am vegan and there were lots of vegan options. Easy parking at the parking garage across the street.
Easy making reservation on Open Table, was seated immediately upon arrival and the food was flavorful.
Great meal, so glad to see them in Santa Rosa. Helpful and friendly staff.
The food was absolutely wonderful and not too expensive considering the area. Will definitely be going there again!
Brilliant restaurant, very authentic food, superbly flavored, modest but mighty - highly recommend it
Great food and service. We were there for NYE and everyone was very pleasant. Would go again!
Really enjoyed the food here. The samosa soup was excellent and a meal in itself. Lots of rice options...great tea.
My second time at Best of Burma 2 and it did not disappoint. Tea leaf salad was a hit with my friends and the rest of the meal (chicken lettuce wraps, coconut noodle soup, mango chicken and lamb curry) was also delicious. Burmese ice tea is very yummy (and quite different in flavor from Thai ice tea) and the restaurant has a nice selection of reasonably priced wines that go well with food. This restaurant is a great addition to the Santa Rosa dining scene and I hope it is here to stay. I have recommended this place to may of my friends and everyone loves it.
Very exciting to have delicious Burmese food in Santa Rosa. The tea salad did not disappoint, it was delicious. I ordered the Coconut soup which is very similar to Laska soup. I requested rice noodles but received wheat noodles... It could have been spicer. So it would be nice to be given the choice on the heat level.
Excellent and unusual food. Served family style so fun with a group.
We really enjoyed our dinner & will go back soon to try more menu items.
Really spicy. So if you are sensitive to heat order mild or extra mild. The tea salad is excellent. The wine and beer selection is small but well appointed. We will be back to try it again sometime.
First time at the Best of Burma2, overall it was very good. Food was excellent. Prices very reasonable. We went at a really quiet time so we really can't speak to the ambience but the décor and visual impact of the restaurant was very good. We will definitely go back.
Very pleased with subtlety of tastes and flavors and excellent preparations of Burmese cuisine. The young Waiter was extremely proficient in guiding our novice journey through remarkable menu options. Good value , moderate prices ... I hope this place thrives because I intend to come back -- will recommend it strongly to all my friends.
Terrific menu, tasty meal. From the coconut rice to the pea leaves with garlic, we were delighted by the beautifully prepared entrees. The downside was that we had to flag down the waiter on several occasions, even though it was quite slow at 6 in the evening. He forgot our rice order-- I had to remind him-- and we had to call him over to fill our water glasses 3 times. The interior is blah, the bathroom door don't close properly and the stall i went into was out of toilet paper. But it was relatively clean. The neighborhood is pretty unattractive. But again, the food is superb. We would definitely come back and hope that we get a different waiter.
