Berut bistro serves fantastic, delicious food and good portions. It’s a small beautiful BYO restaurant with attentive staff. A great place for a catch up with friends.

Excellent food, good range of the menu, servers are very young and can be a little casual in their approach (talking and gossiping at the front), price is OK but portions are very filling. I love the decor but wish place was bigger (but that is not a bad thing just cos i love it)! Would deffo go back (and have).

Food was absolutely delicious and great value for money. Unfortunately the staff were run off their feet and there too few staff for how busy it is. We had to ask for many things many times and they still never arrived. Also not told its - bring your own alcohol - so landed up having to Deliveroo in a bottle of wine to the table.

The food took a long while to arrive, even though the restaurant didn’t seem busy. Most of the dishes were excellent, only the labneh was disappointing (we sent it back) and there was a hair in the baba ganoush. I would have expected these dishes to be taken off the bill but they weren’t, and I had to ask for it to be done. Service was fine, the waitress wasn’t the friendliest. The noise level was bad as the sound of cutlery and plates being collected/ cleaned was very apparent - could have been handled with a bit more care.

What an absolute gem and 5 star on every level. Super friendly service and outstanding food and so good we went back two nights later! Will certainly be back on our next visit to London.

Delicious meal at a very reasonable price for London. They don’t serve alcohol, but are happy for customers to bring their own. Only criticism is the layout of the tables, very crammed.

One of the best meals I’ve eaten in London! The batata harra and cheese rolls were standouts but everything was amazing. Highly recommend.

I celebrated my birthday at Berut Bistrot in Marylebone on May 16th with a big group of 13 friends, and it couldn’t have gone better. The owner, Hussein, was incredibly accommodating — he worked with me to create a set menu that suited everyone, including pescatarians and vegetarians, and reassured me about the portion sizes. He definitely wasn’t exaggerating — there was so much delicious food, and what we couldn’t finish, we were kindly able to take home. For a Marylebone spot, the value for money was honestly amazing. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and the staff were super helpful and attentive throughout the evening, making sure all our requests were taken care of. We had a fantastic time and we’ll definitely be back soon!
