This was our first experience dining at Bernini (although we'd heard very good things about it). So glad we came by for an early "pau hana" Friday dinner! Nice atmosphere, very good service, reasonably priced. And, good food! Who could ask for more?!?!? We're looking forward to our next visit.

This was our third visit to Bernini and our experiences have been slightly worse with each successive visit. I must emphasize that the food, the most important factor to consider in rating a restaurant, has been consistently excellent to outstanding. This Japanese version of Italian cuisine is worthy of any "bucket list." The chilled onion soup is a "must try" and the truffle omelette, while a bit too hearty, makes an excellent appetizer to share. The pastas are consistently perfect and the pizzas are unusually flavorful and uniquely light (also great as a shared appetizer). The Moelleaux au Chocolat (lava cake) dessert is truly outstanding but the Chocolate Flan is misnamed as it's actually a (somewhat weak and disappointing) mousse. The cappuccino should be skipped. But the food is not the reason I won't return. The greeter/maitre'd seems inclined to seat dining parties as close together as possible, probably for ease of serving with a limited staff. I always request a quiet table and reserve an early seating but in spite of the fact that I'm first to arrive and be seated, the second and subsequent parties are seated at adjacent tables rather than spread out as is standard practice at most restaurants. Furthermore, you are forced to keep your soiled dining utensils to re-use rather than being replaced with each course - more of a diner/coffee shop practice than a top level establishment. If you don't share my concerns for "value," you will certainly enjoy Bernini. The food is excellent and the staff is friendly.

This was our first time dining here and we were satisfied. We'd definitely come back. We started with the Lobster Salad and Washugyu Carpaccio. Both were very good. Our entrees were the Riici Di Mare and Carbonara Tagliatelle. Both were also delicious. We had the Strawberry Bille Crepe for dessert which was nice. The cocktails were well balanced. Looking forward to our next visit to try more menu items.

My second time at Bernini. Food was wonderful and the waiter attentive and helpful. Dining room is quiet- good for dinner conversations. This is becoming one of my favorite places to eat!

The thin pie like crust on the pizza makes it light and delicious. If you like meat, try adding the sausage to the diavola pizza. The pastas are all excellent. The one with crab especially so. The wait staff is professional, knowledgeable and friendly. A wonderful combination. The guests seem better behaved and dressed than the average Honolulu dinner. Maybe it is the restaurant’s proximity to Ala Moana Shopping Center???

We had graduation dinner for our daughter. Despite of the last minute reservation, it was nice that they assigned us a little private section for 5 of us. Foods were amazing so as their service. Only and really bad thing was their other guests who was occupying a table with about 10 people. Some of them were clearly drunk and very loud for the type of restaurant. Their voice level and laud laughing were for a night club or a sports bar. It was very disappointing that we paid price tag for the amazing foods and service and still needed to be bothered by that type of guests at the restaurant.

We throughly enjoyed our evening at Bernini. The foie gras was fabulous. Seared perfectly and the gastrique balanced it just right. I also had the carbonara and it was the best carbonara I ever had even in Italy. The sweet cold onion soup was surprisingly delicious and the cheese plate a real treat. If you go try the Bellini Martini! We will be back!

My first time dining at Bernini. Nice quiet dining room. Had onion soup, mushroom salad and Rossini filet mignon. Everything was cooked and served to perfection! Cameron paced the courses wonderfully. I will remember this meal and will certainly come back.
