   We got a small romantic corner table by the window. The wait staff was very very nice and the food was delicious. We loved the trio of dips and couscous with olives! We did not go to the show and regretted it, the music sounded great and it looked like a good time

   Went for date night, prix fixe menu $300 tab, nice ambiance. The food was completely unimpressive and some dishes frankly poor. Wines were fine, pretty mediocre. At the next bar, all we did was talk about how bad that restaurant was. Sorry, won’t go back. Had it cost $120, it would at least have had decent value for forgettable food.

    For the price every one person should get their own salad. As we pay per person not “family price” the food subpar at best. I wish there was more than 6 minute acts. 24 minutes of show but the whole dinner takes over three hours just doesn’t work. Wish there wasn’t a long Walgreens size recipe in the last act. The second act was the only one that was truly entertaining to all of us at our table. Not worth the babysitters fee, let alone your own show fee! Disappointed, would not recommend or speak about to friends or family. For the price I think it would be fair for staff to offer to take group pictures or afterwards with performers.

    We attended the Mother’s Day Experience to celebrate Mother’s Day as well as my husband’s birthday. We took our kids ages 6-15 and all of us loved the food, atmosphere and show. We splurged for the wine pairing and it complimented the courses nicely. The restaurant accommodated a nut allergy in our party and they were super careful about not mixing anything up. We had a blast and will definitely go back.

    Nice vibe, overall good food, and fun place to be. Mothers Day "High Tea" was overpriced and under-serviced. $75 for very small bites and a small entree and a nice but small dessert. Came with a show which ended up being 5 minutes along. The tea was mixed in giant plastic buckets in plain sight, which took away. Won't be going back.

    We enjoyed our meal at Berber very much. Food was delicious, the octopus appetizer was delicious, I want to go back just to order that again. The entire meal was very good, the service was the best service I have received in a long time, they make you feel very special and the entire ambiance was fun. I am looking forward to returning to try other dishes on the menu.

    The show was fun and exciting! Was a little nervous ordering something with a set menu without seeing it first (have some obscure food sensitivities) but the waiter assured us when he explained the menu and wrote down the issues.

    Waiter could explain dishes more. Wine pairing was Okay. Food was overall very good, but perhaps a little lacking for amount paid. However, the performances and the hostess were incredible and really the reason to go.

    The food was good but overpriced. The wine pair felt like a wine tasting because the pour was not the normal size. The server asked us to finish our main curse faster because the dessert was coming, and he will still have to serve it if we were not done.

    We went during restaurant week. Paid 65.00 for a four course prefix. We didn't care for the soup or dessert. The lamb shank was just ok. In total we felt that the meal was not worth the price. Cocktails were pricey but good. 65.00 prefix x 2 with 2 Cocktails totalled nearly 200.00 dollars.

    We went o Berber for a family Brunch, and cannot speak more highly about the food. There was a 3 course tasting menu, and everything was delicious. Do try the date cake if you can - you will not find a better one in the city.

    Terrible food. Ordered the Mediterranean meal for 2 @ $110 each. Came out with 2 cheese sticks and 3 prawns and other meat on the stick. Asked our waiter the meat portion do not look right and what’s the serving size had just one of us ordered the Mediterranean. He said 1 shrimp. The manager then came by to tell us that the serving size is for 2 people and that tables are not allowed to order mismatch meals. Different accounts from different people. The food taste and the serving portion was ridiculously terrible. In addition, service was really slow. I will not be a returning customer.

    Beber checks all the boxes with flying colors. From initial phone contact/customer service, to hostess greeting, to phenomenol bartender Bo, to outstanding customer service, food, wine, cocktails and a jaw dropping show, Berber gives you the best in each category. I highly recommend.

    I came here for a birthday dinner of 6 people and was blown away by how good the food was. We did 3 of the Moroccan prix fixe menus/3 Mediterranean. My MAJOR complaint - upon arriving, we were told that a group of 6 or larger was required to each do a prix fixe course. This was not clear on the website or during the reservation process, and was not listed anywhere on the menu. While the food was amazing, I absolutely would not have booked this restaurant knowing that each of my birthday guests would be required to pay >$200 per person between the food and drinks. Highlights went to the lamb tagine, the first course dips /hummus, the date cake, and the chicken skewers. Again, amazing food and ambiance, but it should have been disclosed upon making a reservation that only ordering à la carte was not allowed. Although it was a Wednesday, it was almost uncomfortably quiet - I could have gone for slightly more music so we didn’t feel like we had to whisper so as to not stand out!

    We had planned a day in the city and for my boyfriend's birthday I surprised him with reservations for Berber to end the night and he was delighted! I loved Berber. It was definitely the perfect event. Good for date night, friends, or a family gathering for adults. When you walk in you're instantly transported to a different world. Its incense filled and felt grand, exotic, but still cozy and intimate. The host who greets you is professional and welcoming. You are lead into a separate section for the dinner show and a door is closed so there are no interruptions. I loved the size of the gathering, not too large or too small for the venue. The size of the stage made the performances feel intimate and exclusive. You are greeted with live music before the show starts. The food is served in courses and was so fresh and delicious. My boyfriend is picky about temperature and the hot food came out hot and cold dishes and drinks came out cold. The prefix menu included warm bread with dip, lentil soup, lamb tagine, and baklava. We also ordered the duck confit. The drink menu is extensive too. The music was a great selection that matched the performances. The MC was absolutely wonderful! Extremely thoughtful, warm, and gracious. The performers came out to greet you personally before and after their performances and were kind enough to pose for photos as well. You can tell they were professional and experienced performers. The timing of the service was impeccable and the ambience just can't be matched. Its a lovely experience and we definitely recommend for anyone that loves good food and a great show to book a reservation.

    Heard about this place through the Michelin guide for their saffron chicken and lamb tajine. Service and ambience were great but the food was very underwhelming. Had the octopus, chicken, couscous and smoked aubergine. Out of all of them, the aubergine was amazing. Octopus and chicken lacked a lot of flavour and were not worth the money we paid. Certainly not a bad restaurant but definitely not one where your bill will be less than $30 per person and you would enjoy the food to the fullest.

    I really wanted to love Berber. My group and I reserved the dinner show. Ambiance was amazing. The show was good, Heather and the drummer where the best part of the experience. However, the rest of the experience was a major let down— from the inattentive service to overpriced and lack luster food and options. Major disappointment!!
