Please join our restaurant, the home of Benny and Mary, world travelers with diverse menu items, and acquired decor. Featuring eccentric cuisine and craft cocktails, (including a wide selection of spirits and wine) served in our various spaces from our full-service bar and cocktail area to our picturesque Library featuring our bookcase and high ceiling chandeliers. The service at the bar for Happy Hour was atrocious. The bartender was grumpy and unpleasant and did one task at a time, going back and forth and back and forth in a very inefficient manner. It took her over 10 minutes to even notice we were sitting there, and then when we ordered our drinks, it took another 15 minutes to get a margarita and an Arnold Palmer. But at least she served the gentleman next to us "immediately", even though he sat down 10 minutes after "we" did. Maybe he was a regular or something, but still "not cool." The food was mediocre at best. And when I asked the manager for salt and pepper, he never brought them. Then I asked the busboy, and he never brought them to us. So I walked into the kitchen and asked one of the chefs, and he got the busboy and told him, and the busboy said for me to sit down and he'd bring it, but I said, "No, I'll stand here and wait for it." So he looked at me, startled, and finally got me some salt and pepper. If you ask for salt and pepper, you want it now, while your food is still warm. Not ten minutes later. Bad service is inexcusable. It's not rocket science. I will never go back to Benny's & Mary's.

It was wonderful Anniversary Celebration. Food was impressively delicious & scrumptious! The atmosphere & ambience are extremely remarkable beautiful. Service was above expectations & very much appreciated.

I'm not entirely sure what to think of B&Ms. I've been twice, and I really want to like it, but I can't say that I do....the food was great..the service was very attentive...the menu just misses somehow. The appetizers try a bit too hard to be different. The bone marrow and tartare was a pure SALT bomb. The entree selection is pretty limited. I had the short rib osso bucco, which was great. My girl had the sea bass, which was also really good. Really no complaints, but there is something about the space or the menu that is off the mark. Hard to describe. We will be back at some point as we live close to it, but I can't say we would hurry back.

Made reservations through OpenTable. Marked it was for Anniversary. They acknowledged that when we were seated and gave us a small dessert. Drink options were good. Wine was reasonably priced and good. My steak was prepared perfectly. Only negative was they only have 2 fish options and they didn’t have 1 of them. Not a huge menu and to be out of 1 of the non- red meat/pork options was mildly limiting.

My first time in and certainly will not be my last I chose to sit at the bar with Jacob who was a fabulous host and server quite gracious. I went in for lunch and wound up staying for happy hour. I tried three different dishes. Everyone better than the next High Mark from this foodie lady. The new YUM YUM SHRIMPS are the 💣

There were four of us dining, and overall the ambiance was pleasant with easy parking. We ordered several shareable appetizers and bowls, along with individual entrées. The restaurant was very busy, and unfortunately, two of the items we originally selected were unavailable—this wasn’t mentioned until after we placed our order. Service was friendly, but our server forgot two items at different points during the meal—my son’s drink and the shrimp we ordered as part of the appetizers. Additionally, she seemed unfamiliar with parts of the menu, which made substitutions and questions more difficult to navigate. The highlights were the restaurant’s signature pasta and the short rib entrée was well presented—both were flavorful and well-executed. However, the rest of the meal fell short and didn’t quite meet expectations. I muddy friendly is the best and would return based on ease, ambiance and especially the friendliness.

The food was mediocre unfortunately, but the service was fantastic and the prices weren’t too bad, so you get what you pay for I guess.

Good service especially from the food runner and busser. They noticed our table was crooked and fixed it right away. However, disappointing fried chicken and waffles. Chicken was over fried while the waffle was under.
