The meal started out with delicious cocktails made by Brandon while we were waiting for our table. Food was amazing and we enjoyed every bit of it. We attempted to eat here last October, but our reservation was canceled due to Covid by restaurant. We were happy to be able to come back on this visit.

I think there was a possibility for this to be a great dinner - atmosphere was nice and the service great. I was with my 94 ye old grandmother. We were outside and she was cold so we asked the server to turn on the heaters. However as more people arrived they moved the heater because the other heater they had was not working. The food took a very long time with no explanation. I had the New York strip, which was charred on the ends to the point of being burnt. My grandmother had the short ribs which was a little to salty. I would try again as I think we were just there on San off night.

The very best board! The trout and pork chop were delicious. The vibe and staff were phenomenal. Run, don’t walk to Benne on Eagle!

As always, delicious. And great to be inside on a chilly night, but tucked away our private booth for four. Short ribs. I’ll say it again, short ribs.

We spent two nights in Asheville, and this was one of two restaurants we wanted to try. Exceeded all expectations from cocktails to dinner to service. I requested a high top in the bar area and Brandon was our bartender and server. It was a great meal - the ability to have a real conversation with the server made it a great experience. The meal was exceptional...very innovative, yet approachable. Would highly recommend.

A very mixed review from the six of us. Three found their entree unavailable, but were very happy with the replacement. Three of us were underwhelmed by our entree; my side of fruit consisted of three very small pieces of watermelon... worthy of a middle school cooking class. Very pleasant and helpful wait staff, but I could not recommend Benne's lunch menu, and not sure I would take the chance on dinner. Oh, and the two calls in advance to warn that one of us was a vegan met the response: We don't have anything for vegans....

Genuinely sincere service. Attentive staff all around. Food was excellent! Great atmosphere for any occasion! We had Skillet hash, shrimp and grits, chicken and waffles. The FIRST time I’ve ever enjoyed chicken and waffles. Very good! Great Bloody Mary. Highly recommend.

Highly recommend! We came for brunch and were very impressed. The Elderflower and Agave drink was one of the best margarita like drinks that I've ever had. We had short rib hash, shrimp and grits, and french toast, all wonderful. Kind and attentive staff, would definitely return.

We had breakfast here each morning on our recent weekend trip to Asheville and it did not disappoint. Centrally located in Downtown on Eagle St. they had our party of six in and out efficiently and stuffed for the rest of the day. Outdoor seating an option that shares the beautiful courtyard for the Foundry Hotel. The Sweet Potato Pone was a highlight for me.

This was the first time we had gone for dinner (time before was for brunch) Wonderful meal - trout entrée was amazing. Staff super down to earth - will definitely be back!

I would have given them a five star rating except I had to send back my steak after trying valiantly to cut it with a knife and chew it to the point where I could swallow it! However, they were very gracious and I ordered the trout which was excellent. My daughter got the steak as I did and her steak was fine. My husband had the pork chop and enjoyed it thoroughly. The atmosphere was great and the noise level was low. Tables were far enough apart for any fear of getting too close. We'll try it again.

Wow! What a surprise gem! First time there and certainly won’t be the last. Courtney was wonderful, the Trout was amazing and the rest of the staff fantastic. A spacious layout that makes you feel like you can breathe. A menu that is easy to navigate (not current on Open Table by the way). Loved everything !

Food was delicious! Our server was very nice. The time from order to on the table was ridiculous. We complained and they discounted our bill 10%. Overall, it was good because we so enjoyed the entrees we had.

The food was delicious! Perfect combination of spices.
It is a little pricey. Short ribs came with asparagus and that was all.

We feel so fortunate to have had dinner at this amazing restaurant. Our server, Brandon, was so kind and welcoming, as was everyone. We wanted to try everything and made a considerable dent (wings, Mac and cheese, duck confit, jerk cauliflower and the gnocchi nduja). The gnocchi will haunt my dreams! So happy we didn’t eat at our hotel!!! Can’t wait to return.

We were fortunate to get a table outside on the back patio overlooking the Foundry Hotel courtyard. It was a perfect evening with delicious cocktails, amazing dinner and great wine. I had the short ribs which were cooked perfectly and just the right amount. My husband had the trout which he loved. Literally a perfect evening.
