Benihana - Las Vegas Strip
Awesome time. Great food, fun and service
The place is pretty nice and in a good location ,food was good and the Chef was very good (Ryan). It is very loud inside so be prepared to talk loud and also have other folks at your table . Overall the place was good and I would return. Thank you.
Always enjoy the food and show at Benihana
It never disappoints.
Excellent service from hostess to server and delicious food!
A bit chaotic but we live near The Strip and understand the tourism factor. Food and service were solid. Definitely a fun place for birthday dinner.
Ryan is an amazing Chef!! Benihana never disappoints, Great time as always.
The usual Benihana experience - tried and true. We showed up early and were accommodsted right away.
The Chefs are hilarious. Great food, great time. 5 course meal for $35, who can complain about that?!
First time, loved it
If you go to this location make sure to ask for Jospeh to be your chef. I have been to many Benihanas over the years and he is the best chef I have ever had. I was lucky enough to have him twice over the last 8 days while visiting. While the prices are high, the food is delicious and Joseph makes it better and puts on a better show than any other chef I have ever seen!
Benihana is the name brand of Teppanyaki and worthy of the experience. This location is all in one large room which the acoustics (noise) were not very conducive to conversation and were borderline too loud for a casual enjoyable dinner. If you were revving up to go out clubbing, then it would be right in line with that.
We showed up 15 minutes early for the reservation and were given a pager with the hostess indicating we may be seated early. Instead we were seated 10 minutes after the reservation and then sat at the table waiting for someone to take a drink order. Several other requests and delivery of food/drink were slow as well. Chopstick wrappers and other trash were left on table even as the service personal delivered and removed other items. Though the service was slow and lacking in a few areas, I am still rating the service personnel as generally good.
The Teppanyaki chef was enjoyable and cooked the food well while entertaining all. The food was good quality and overall it was an enjoyable meal. A couple of the meals came with ice cream or sherbert which was never delivered or asked about. We didn't think about it after we left.
The meal is not inexpensive but it is part food and part show which is its appeal. I'd recommend Benihana for occasions though I may suggest the one in the Westgate hotel instead of this one on the Strip.
Use to love it here but the last few times its losing its touch. Seafood was overcooked twice now and the prices keep going up. Would expect better quality for the prices we pay. Still enjoy the experience but not sure it's worth the money anymore. 3 stars because service, entertainment, and the steak were still awesome.
On behalf of our team here at Benihana, we sincerely apologize for your experience and understand your concern. If you would like to get in touch with our team, please do so via the Contact Us page on our website so that we can further address this matter.
I invited Japanese business friends, they ware really
enjoyed Benihana food and atmosphere.
I appreciate your service for us.
Amazing server, best I've had in a long time and very patient with the newcomers to Benihanas. Yet but very noisy and found lack of flavor in food these days, as well as rooms very poor ventilation and air conditioning unit blowing on us was uncomfortable.
Loved this style of restaurant! It's like a show within a show and if you want it all and more request 'Tony Too Much". I've had my share of great Teppanyaki and this was my favourite experience. The food and cocktails were fantastic as well.
Yummy, yum, YUM!!! Everything was spectacular! Thank you.
New location, right on strip across from Wynn. A+
Chef never came out. Waited one hour 25 minutes. Pathetic
Great. Good good and good sodphete
Long wait with a reservation. Waitress came when she wanted. We'll stick to our local hibachi grill
Didn’t get drinks, rice or desert
They were very accommodating for our large party & went the extra mile for us the entire time we were there. By far one of the best Benihana’s I’ve been to. The entire staff was very friendly & helpful.
3rd time at Benihana, but first time at Fashion Show Mall location. The food is always good, but this location is not charming at all and much too noisy to enjoy the dinner.
We won’t go back. Besides the ventilation is not strong enough, our clothes stink oil, it’s bad.
Too commercialised. Too noisy. Lobster and filet mignonette both tough so obviously frozen. Very poor
We are a family from Sweden who celebrated New Year’s in Vegas in 2019. The town is very busy that time of year and reservations are a must. We booked Benihana for the kids’ sake and we had a great time. This was primarily because of our chef, Tony Too Much, who was a natural entertainer. The food was very tasty (the kids’ opinion).
The downside of Benihana Las Vegas on New Year’s is that it was very busy (some didn’t get a chef cooking for them for a good hour or so), very noisy and all your clothes reek of teppanyaki afterwards. This is part of the package, folks. Some hate Benihana. We loved it.*
*and have been to numerous Michelin starred places around the world so we know what we’re talking about
Their service is so bad!!
We don’t go there from now on!!
Ask for Adam as your chef!!!! You won’t regret it !
Everything was great. Our chef was amazing and funny . The food was delicious .
the only problem was that they were running late, so we arrived 15 minutes early then had to wait 30 minutes past our reservation time . So... 45 minutes waiting in the cold, I guess i would of prefered going somewhere else.
Slow bartenders to help and close out.
Food wasn’t great. All chicken and beef was really tough.
The waiter Ryan was awsome
Omar was fun and cooked our food perfectly.
Very loud, hard to hear what others were saying at the table.
Our hibachi chef was good, funny and personable.
Great food . Staff was helpful and professional . Will definitely come back next time I’m in Vegas
I have to mention Joscalin, our chef. She had more new jokes and fun things that she did while cooking the food than I have ever seen, and I go to Benihanas everywhere we travel.
The food, delicious as always. The chef, superb!
Very happy with Tempanyaki server. Good courteous treatment. He put on a classic show for alll present -- just right. Cooked food well and presented it well. A true professional
We waited for our table in the bar where we had the best experience with Hayden Lynn. Made an excellent suggestion for a green tea shooter and it was off the hook. He was very fun to chat up while we waited and it really set the tone for the evening.
This location gave us our best Teppanyaki experience of any Benihana we have visited. Food was truly exceptional and our chef could not have been more entertaining.
Chef Ryan was AWESOME!
Overall, the experience was good! Our server Jana, was sweet and very attentive. Our cook, Adrian was wonderful and very personable! He shared stories of living in Vegas which was fun to hear. The hostesses were not as great. Very much into their own thing, talking very loud about personal things, and hugged up on the guys who worked there. We felt uncomfortable as we waited. It seems they are supposed to open the door as guests enter and leave, however they verbally shared how irritated they were by that task. My husband made sure to open the door for me and our family so we didn’t burden the two hostesses and have them speak poorly about us or how slowly we walked through the door while customers were waiting to get seated.
