   It was nice to have a professional server, Fernando, wait on us. Superb service, friendly and attentive. The drinks came quickly and and were well mixed and generous. The French Onion soup and romaine salad were tasty as were the short rib emtrees. All in all, a delightful evening. We would go back in an instant,

   We went to Bellamy’s to celebrate our 44th anniversary. The restaurant was well appointed and our table was nicely set. Our waiter Fernando was excellent. He was one of those rare waiters who knows when to check in with you and when to let you enjoy your meal. The food was very good and we enjoyed our meal. We would definitely recommend Bellamy’s and we will be back.

   Truly a hidden gem in Escondido. Delicious food, homemade pasta, excellent service. Was able to get a same day reservation for dinner. Our server, Fernando, was so kind, knowledgeable, and attentive- a true professional. Somehow he seemed to anticipate our every need. Such a refreshing level of service in an industry with so much turnover. And the food was just as good. We were a party of four and split the calamari appetizer which was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Just perfect. For entrees, two of us got the Cioppino with homemade spaghetti and the other two got the filet mignon. All our meals were delicious and perfectly cooked. The house bread and butter was warm and fresh. For dessert we shared the warm butter cake with vanilla gelato which I would also recommend. Live musical performers were just starting to play as we finished our meal. All in, a lovely dining experience with impeccable service. Looking forward to coming back the next time I’m in the area.

   Overpriced local hang. Food was good but nowhere near worth the price. A glass Sancerre wine 18 dollars. That wine sells for about 25$ retail. Attentive servers for the local regulars, but they are undertrained. Cappuccino was bad, clearly the machine had not been cleaned for many days. Very disappointed. We will not return.

    First time to Bellamy’s and we had a wonderful experience. Brian greeted us and also served our table. He was energetic, helpful, social, and detailed. Very attentive and genuinely a kind server. Initially when we walked in it was very loud and worries that we would be sitting in the bar area but Brian brought us to the back area which was very quiet and allowed us to enjoy a romantic dinner while still being able to hear the subtle live jazz playing. Food was fantastic and we really enjoyed the scampi toast appetizer. We also got the scallop special and the brown sugar butter fettuccine with added shrimp. Brian kindly took care of us with a delightful butter cake for a birthday celebration. We look forward to returning and trying additional favorites. Thank you again for such an exceptional experience. Little details made our dinner and without hesitation will have us recommending.
