   A beautiful setting, and boy, do you ever pay for it. Brunch, with tip, was $110 per person. The food was good, but nothing extraordinary; the service was very good and our server, Alex, was very attentive to us. The view is to die for and we couldn’t have asked for a more gorgeous day - it was so clear you could see all of the islands - a rare occurance. I will return, but at that price, probably just once a year and for a special occasion.

   You can't beat the view at the Biltmore! If you live in SB, it's a great opportunity to enjoy a staycation at one of SB's finest hotels. The staff is gracious and kind, and you'll get a lovely meal and wine selection.

   Just a wonderful dining room. Food is top notch and tasty. We love the overall facility location and the Bella Vista is one of our regular stops when we pass through Santa Barbara. Excellent service and presentation. Highly recommended.

   The hotel is absolutely stunning and views are great. The food was bland, cold, and took about an hour from arrival to get during the lunch hour, which wasn’t crowded. It was so bad we ended up giving up on the food and declining a remake (they did remake my crab Benedict anyway and it was at least warm... but somehow lacking). Spare yourself the trouble and just go for some drinks and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

    Several issues: 1) had requested an outside table in my original reservation, but upon arrival was told there would be a 20-30 minute wait, as folks who hadn’t reserved an outside table were given priority on first-come, first-serve basis. 2) ordered wine pairing ($75 add on), but server neglected to bring wine with our second course - brought it after we finished the course. 3) my wife was served a different entree than she ordered, although that error was immediately corrected, and an apology given; however, the manager came out and said, “I understand you’re very upset about something” (which made us uncomfortable). 4) the dessert was supposed to feature a hot chocolate sauce to melt the ball-like cherry/chocolate cake, but the sauce wasn’t even warm, so the effect was lost. When we advised the server, she suggested we use more force to penetrate the cake, rather than providing a replacement. Overall, it wasn’t a great experience, especially at $200 per person. We normally love the Bella Vista for dinner, but they seemed overwhelmed by this special Valentines dinner event.
