Under the guidance of his Italian-native mother, and heavily influenced by his travels throughout Italy, Jake Imperiale opened Bella Napoli in 2001 to meet Kansas City's need for authentic Italian food, wine and market goods. Jake hand selects each product for Bella's deli and market and every item is imported from Italy. Wander across the room and you'll be immersed in an atmosphere as authentically Italian as it gets. An integral element of Bella Napoli, the pizzeria offers a variety of traditional Italian dishes.

At Bella Napoli, the ambiance of a true Italian ristorante, classic Italian recipes, warm friendly service and a renowned wine list culminate in an Italian dining experience you're sure to fall in love with.

                        Been here many time and it is always excellent. One of the best Italian restaurants I’ve eaten at (and that includes a number of them in Italy).

                        This is authentic Italian food. If you like Italian Sausage, try it as a side or even a a sharable. Many great dishes to choose from with a variety of ingredients and styles. The service was very good! Some rain drove most of those sitting outside who weren't covered inside looking for seats. So our 6:45 reservation became 7:00. Not a problem. What was impressive is the person in charge of the floor and seating did a stellar job of managing the situation and keeping everyone happy. His attitude about it all made that happen for everyone. He even helped me pick out some balsamic vinegar as I left. Hope you like it as much as we did.

                        We were “first timers” at Bella Napoli and will definitely be back! We choose it to celebrate Fathers Day because we had always heard great things about it but mostly because they have carbonara and cacio e pepe on their menu (cacio e pepe is actually NOT on their menu but their chef was kind enough to make it for me!) We are fresh off a trip to Italy and fell in love with both of those dishes while we were there. Bella Napoli did not disappoint! Their wood-fired pizza was also amazing and is only $10 on Monday nights. We cannot wait to return again soon.

                        Excellent food! Intimate dining room, superb service, and really excellent food. Our table had the Salumi e formaggi antipasti, I had the Insulate di penoli salad, and we had gnocchi with Bolognese, and the Spaghetti Putannesca . Everything was wonderful.. Fresh bread and the house red wine completed the meal. I highly recommend! I cant wait to go sample the deli and market!

                        We go here when we are missing Italy to get the feel of the places we visited when we were overseas. The lemoncello at the end of the meal is a nice touch, the owner floats around and is engaging to talk to and the servers are attentive and knowledgable.
