Enjoy award winning cuisine in a historic brick building dating back to 1902 which previously housed the Belford family’s wholesale food company. Since opening for business in 1997, Belford’s has taken the prize four times at the annual Taste of Savannah event judged by Southern Living magazine. Menu specialties include pan-seared jumbo lump Crab Cakes, Shrimp, Greens and Grits, daily chef's specials and mouth-watering steaks. All Belford’s steaks are Certified Angus Beef. Was very excited to try the restaurant the reviews looked amazing and loved the backstory. Upon arriving to walk to the table the floor is very slippery once we were seated we order dinner the waitress disappeared service was uninspiring. Dinner for two was almost $300 and was really like a $50 meal tops. My husband steak was chard and his lobster was dry and overdone. Our appetizers had obviously sat underneath the heat lamp for sometime. Very very disappointing.

My husband had the hamburger, I had a salad. We shared the she crab soup. Everything was delicious. Our waiter was fantastic.

We joined for our 2nd Thanksgiving @ Belford's with the family. The server was not very present, he only came to take our order but never checked on us throughout our whole meal. The Pumpkin cheesecake that we took to go, had way to much ginger & we could not eat it. The filet Mignon was undercooked & cold but we couldn't find our server to tell him. Very disappointed in our experience for the $75 per person we paid. The manager did come by and apologize and took $11 off our bill for the steak.
