Behesht offers a feast reminiscent of a 'Darvish' fairy tale. Genuine antiques, old Persian copper lamps, fountains and warm wood columns create a reflection of Iran 's romanticism when it was known as Persia . Behesht restaurant, in keeping with tradition, is hand-painted in rich red-maroon, turquoise blue and sun gold. Greeted by an impressive waiting room, guests enter the main dining area of the restaurant, filled with the Iranian antiques and rugs and carpets . When seated, the kitchen acts as an attraction for guests as they watch chefs prepare and bake bread in the special tanour bread oven and kebabs on the traditional grill. Enveloped by a beautiful wooden floor, tall columns and a light-blue, sculpted ceiling, the room provides a serene and intimate atmosphere.

Usually food is good here but dis time wasn't ,, & also unavailability of Special oven nan bread & corn chicken hot soup made our last visit a lot disappointed,,,, Tc

Food wasn't great at all just really dry and bland. Service was absolutely poor, had no cutlery on my table and no waiter around to ask so got up and got it myself. Table was also dirty. Asked for the bill twice after waiting about 15 mins for it and got up just went to the pay myself. They also charged me service charge which is ridiculous considering I got my own own cutlery and paid for the bill - all that without the waiter and still got charged for service charge. Joke. Will not be returning here for sure again.

The service was not good .we wait a lot to have our lunch . They sale a bread to eat with lunch .it doesn't make sence. One cup of water 1.50£ 2 slices of flat white bread 2.40£ It is a first and a last time i go there.

I invited two friends and my sister to Behesht to eat Iranian food. We arrived there 10 minutes earlier than the reservation time and it was busy already. The staff were very warm and welcoming from the beginning. They invited us to come in and we sat at our table as soon as it became ready (it only took 2-3 minutes). The entire night the stuff were very friendly, helpful, and always available to serve us. The food was amazing and worth the price too! We liked the atmosphere of the restaurant and how easy it is to access with public transport for people traveling from outer London. My friends enjoyed their meal and we had a great get together there. I highly recommend Behesht to those willing to have a taste of Iranian cuisines in a very cosy restaurant with their friends and families.

Food was good and well presented but was bit bland to my taste there was a lack of accompaniments (Sauces) the food, I was over charged for 2 item which we never had, i didn't argue, the order was incomplete had to wait further 30/40 mins while other guests with me finished there food. Quality of lamb mince was very good Furthermore the dishes names were in Farsi and there was not enough information for non Iranian customers. Staff were polite but lacked interaction

First time eating Persian food, really enjoyed it. Generous portions (it fed us the next day as well!). Staff were very friendly and happy to answer our questions about what was what in the dishes. Notably, we were the only "Westerners" there so I think this speaks miles about the authenticity of the food. Also, loved the decor, and Maggie the parrot!
