A pleasant meal. Food was quite tasty and presented well. The service seemed a bit slow, as there was only one server after our 5 PM reservation. The hostess station was well manned, so it makes me wonder why the server/waitstaff wasn't assisted? This being our 4th visit, all-in-all, we will be back. Well done, Beef and Leaf.

Truly outstanding in all aspects. Varied menu with even a "fixed price" option of three courses including an ample glass of excellent wine at a very reasonable price. Food prep and presentation professionally delivered by helpful and engaging waiters and helpers. An astute diner will immediately recognize that this place has been honed and guided by an owner/manager/lead chef (yes, all three) that makes their dining experience unforgettable. Wine list exceptional and interesting cocktail mixes inviting. Relaxing feel and ambiance here, even as the restaurant filled (we began dining at 5:00 p.m to really get an initial more-private perspective of the place.) NO DOUBT we're coming back. Judged by our various dining experiences in and around Los Alamos, Beef and Leaf has won the 1st prize, by far!

Beef & vegetable stew was incredible. Chicken pot pie was excellent. Fish & chips were among the best served in Los Alamos. Banana brulle for desert was good, though a bit bland. Service was great and they allowed us to stay passed closing since we had a late reservation. Overall 5/5.

The food was very good as was the service. Some choices in the food preparation was unusual and not to our expectation. The biscuits and gravy were plain biscuits with an inappropriate side of brown gravy instead of the common immersion in red-eye gravy - more to our liking. Thugs and sausage were well prepared.

Beef & Leaf is a bright addition to dining in Los Alamos, with a seasonal, creative, and varied menu. An interesting option which changes weekly is the prix fixe menu. Items are carefully prepared with a talented chef's touch. We have enjoyed both brunches and dinners, and will be returning again. Service was attentive and professional. A good value!

First time there and the food and service was excellent. I enjoyed the buttermilk chicken which had a nice bite to it, while my dad had the crab fritters which I also tasted and found to be good.
