   Every time I eat here the more I want to return for the next meal. The chef has never missed a beat preparing the food, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the owner is wonderful and cordial. Best meal around in my opinion.

   The date night deal is wonderful. You get an appetizer, two salads, two entrees, and a bottle of wine to share for $50 on Wednesdays and Thursdays. The service was good although a little slow. The restaurant is quite loud and does not have a children's menu. We loved it!

   We dine at this restaurant whenever we're in the area. The service is friendly and very efficient, the food very well prepared with quality ingredients. The Caesar salad is probably the best we've ever had and we love the Mixed grill dish.

   Thursday night is date night. The menu provides a wide range of good choices for red meat eaters or seafood lovers . There are some choices for vegans but not a wide variety. There are good deals on wine, appetizers and desserts. We had great service although when we dined at 8:15 the kitchen was out of some entrees and all potatoes. Our waiter even cooked bread for us after they ran out.

   We went to the Bedford Social Club for the Couples Date Night Special and we were not disappointed. For $50 we shared an appetizer (chicken potstickers with asian dipping sauce) which was excellent. I had the squash soup and my husband had a salad (both very good) I had Tilapia and my husband had the ahi tuna and we were both pleased with our choices. Dessert was a shared slice of a delicious pie and we had a bottle of wine. For $50 you can not go wrong. We were there early so the restaurant was quiet. Our servers were efficient and friendly and parking was on street and convenient. We enjoyed our "Date night" and will definitely return again.

   You can't go wrong with an evening at the Bedford Social Club! Our most recent visit was on a Thursday and we took advantage of the Date Night special. As always, everything was great, especially the service. My wife's steak was broiled perfectly and exceptionally tender, while the Seafood Wellington was nothing short of exceptional. This is without question our favorite restaurant in the Smith Mountain Lake area and would recommend it without hesitation.

   The food is really good but forget about conversation. My husband and I have had dinner here several times and we do enjoy the food but be prepared to yell at each other if you want to talk. Service is friendly and good----not great. Wine list is decent and affordable. All and all we will try again as the menu is interesting. Also, the "date night" special is a great value!

   If you have not been to the Bedford Social Club you are missing out on a great meal. The menu is always changing, the choices are excellent, the service is the best, the food is always delicious. It is really great for just 2 or for a group.

    We've never been disappointed and the staff is nothing short of fantastic. They really want you to enjoy your meal and the time you spend with them.
