   They were out of a 1/3 of the menu and it took 1.5 hours to get our food and we barely ever saw our server. Not the best experience.

   This must be the most stunning location in Victoria Beach - even though it’s not by the sea, the elevation gives you beautiful views if you’re sitting outside like I did, in the “secret garden”. The venue was prepping for a wedding that weekend and the only noise came from the casual guests gathering and getting tipsy - not a biggy tho. Sadly, I felt forgotten sitting outside and I think others were similar - the service was very patchy. The food was exquisite! But spoilt for me as someone forgot to order/serve my red wine, and my main crab cake arrived before I finished my starter! Even though I asked for it to come after, it returned 5min later, before my starter plate was finished. It’s disappointing as I had big expectations of this place - it is very atmospheric! I am coming back for brunch though, as I can’t think of a nicer place in VB to finish on before heading to the airport.

   Food portion is ridiculously small. I had to come home and make myself lunch after my lunch! Do better. Server was sweet and helpful but won’t be returning.

   Worst experience I have had at a place that is usually lovely. Had to wait forever for our booked table, waited forever for a waitress, then for wine we ordered. Never got the app we ordered and paid for. Very disappointing.

   The Becca’s poor service did not match the Cavalier resort luxurious ambience. It took an hour after ordering before appetizers and drinks were served. The soup of the day was served cold, pork chop was hard to chew as it was overcooked with no flavor. French fries were overcooked as well. To top it all off, we were charged for two glasses of wine when only one glass of wine was consumed. Due to this experience, we will not return.

   It had been awhile since we last ate at Becca and unfortunately, I do not seeing us returning anytime soon. Last night the restaurant was somewhat busy (it was Prime Rib Night), the service was very slow and both entrees ( prime rib) were over cooked and dry. Should be noted that we both ordered the prime rib to be cooked to medium rare and it came out more medium and very dry. At least the vodka martini and wine were good.

   We love Becca and The Cavalier. We are locals and even do wknd stays at Hotel. Becca last night was so disappointing our server i guess had a bad day and it showed. Not what we are used to in service! We went for the Prime Rib Special, a first for us and celebrating sisters birthday. The Prime Rib was terrible, it did not even have the texture or taste of Prime Rib. Only 1 person at table said his was good! The other 3 was heated up?? The cream spinach and potato were to die for!! We will be back but this was disappointing. We did not complain because my brother n law paid the bill.

    The good: beauty of the restaurant. Most foood was tasty. The bad: very gruff greeting by host. Slow service to the table. Extremely loud environment, could hardly hear person across the table and vice versa. Brussels sprouts way under cooked. Baguette way over toasted and popover was tough texture. Excessive price for overall quality. Would not go again.
