    The value was there for us. Until service disparities are addressed, I don't know that it would be worth it.

    There weee two separate tables a few feet away with really noisy kids. No attempt was made to keep them quiet. These kids were old enough to behave.

    We were initially sat in the back of the dining area which was extremely hot. Three other parties left the area after we did because of the conditions. It was my wife's birthday and after letting the staff (Hostess and server) know, nothing to acknowledge such was done. Maybe a kind gesture or a dessert recommendation would have been nice. Other than that the building and grounds were very nice. Valet service was spot on also.

    my favorite place to go has always been the Cavalier Hotel. I have always loved Becca. I had the North Beach Omelette, which was okay, nothing special about it and it wasn’t seasoned very well. But other than that, 10/10 experience.

    party of 4 we arrived at 6:45 and our singular appetizer (lobster bruschetta) didn’t arrive until 7:30- we had to flag the runner down to get him to deliver it to the right table. empty water was not refilled until we flagged down the person with a water pitcher. our 1 soup and 1 salad still hadn’t arrived by 8:15. we complained and were told that they were having trouble warming up the soup. finally the soup and salad came at 8:25 with apologies from the assistant manager. by 8:40 we still didn’t have our entrees and asked to cancel them bc we were no longer hungry, the manager said they were ready but by this time we’d been there for 2 hours, finished our $125 bottle of wine and were no longer hungry or interested. the table next to us also were unhappy and had their entrees boxed to go. seeing similar experiences that happened in the last few days. they only charged us for the wine but won’t be back.
