   Beauty and Essex is definitely a beautiful location. Is a speakeasy and the decor is gorgeous. A place to take someone to surprise them and make them feel important and elevated. Is a place where you can find a celebrity, since it is really that high end. The food is also excellent, although I have experienced different flavors in the food, I guess depending on the chef. Drinks are on point. However, be ready to spend if you want to eat well. I spent $900 on a dinner for 5. Of course, we all ate the best pieces and we enjoyed! I would say, that if you are a bit conservative, you can spend maybe about $450 to $650 on 5 people tip included, but you will have to be very conservative when you order, maybe order two appetizers to share, like the salad, and something else that may bring 3 pieces but you can ask for the extra 2 more if you are a party of 5, just giving you an idea. And you can share two desserts. The Ribeye is big, so you can share it, if you dont have a huge stomach, but you need to order a side dish for an additional cost as the meat comes alone. Just giving you a heads up. Now, if money is not a real issue, or you saved for your moment, like I did, then enjoy because it is all worth it!

   This place is such a vibe, from the entry through the pawn shop into the restaurant. Every single item on the menu was delicious. We ended up ordering two rounds of shareables for the table and felt very satisfied. Every drink ordered was on point. Service top notch and ambience amazing. This will be a frequent stop any time I am in the city!!

   This was a last minute reservation and worth it 100%! The food was excellent especially the Kale & Apple salad which I could have had for my dinner alone…the staff did make it vegan for me which was even better!! The Mushroom Raviolin is awesome and bursting with flavor!! While the entrance is creative I was a little thrown off and believe there should be something outside to let guests know the jewelry store in the front is definitely part of the Beauty decor 🙃!!!

   Very fun to be at the real deal, having only experienced the Vegas version previously. On Ave A; as soon as you walk in the doors you are transplanted to magical world off the gritty street. The pawn shop lobby is adorable; through the doors the bar area is super chic and comfy. The restaurant is spacious and beautiful. All this real estate for dining is rare in NY! The menu is fun and delicious, and your server will help make sure you choose the right proportions for your party. Shout out to bar personnel, Jose whose personality shines and smile lights up the room; genuinely stellar person! Thank you for the post dinner tour of the up stairs jewel box space and beaded chandelier room. We celebrated a friend's birthday and he loved it so much he is considering a private party next year for a milestone bday. MUAH!
