Beauty & Essex has an innovative design that starts in the Pawn Shop, complete with vintage treasures and curated contemporary pieces. The host greets you in the Jewelry Box and takes you past upholstered walls into the Pearl Lounge and bar. Then you’ll find the Peacock Dining Room and the Locket Private Dining Room separated by a screen wall of antique frames. Each of these rooms are inspired by the delicate yet glamorous details of jewelry.

The cuisine, much like the design, is intended to set a new course with unique shareable dishes and twists on classic cocktails. Acclaimed chef and co-creator Chris Santos was one of the pioneers of the small, share plate dining trend that has swept the nation, and with the Beauty & Essex menu, he once again has created waves on the food scene.

Great place to go, it was my 4th time there and again, not disappointed, took my wife there for our 38th wedding anniversary, priceless...!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! We were a large party of 7. The service was impeccable, the food was the best I’ve had in Mohegan over the last 20 years; our party shared 9-10 dishes, all were beyond expectations. Few of my favorites were the scallops (the best we’ve ever had), the bolognese (phenomenal!), wagyu steak tartare & the black Forrest Cherry desert! The ambiance, the Signature cocktails, the food, service, the shopping for a gorgeous new handbag,, this was a dining experience!

I love this place....service is great..Jonathan and Jen were so attentive.... The management sent over A complimentary dish that had not been up to par at my last visit...So that was very much appreciated. And the food was absolutely delicious. If I could change one thing, it would be the noise level, oh, and they might want to enforce more of A Dress code.. The woman next to us sat on short shorts frayed.. High top sneakers and a barely there tank top.. Hardly appropriate for fine dining

Enjoyed an anniversary date night at Beauty & Essex. Our waitstaff fully explained how the menu works and offered excellent suggestions for us. Shared plates were just enough to try multiple dishes and not be "overwhelmed" with food. All of our choices were great. Waitstaff remained attentive throughout our meal. This is a perfect restaurant for self proclaimed foodies to indulge. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience and do not hesitate to recommend!

Service, food and drinks were all fantastic! Highly recommend. We will definitely be dining here again when in town!

Went to the one in Las Vegas so wanted to try the one at Mohegan. Went on a Wednesday so wasn't very busy so restaurant was pretty quiet for the most part. Service was really good, food was excellent. Will definitely come back again.

The place is gorgeous... The service was very good....Most of the food was exceptional... The only issue was the French dip.... 2 of the servings were not optimum.....perhaps the tail end of the roast, or something. They were medium well and very tough... I really should have sent it back. Other than that it was really good !

It was our first time there. Everything was great. The portions were normal sized and the food was prepared perfectly! We will definitely be back.
