Citranity! - Session IPA - 5% ABV
History: The Citranity! recipe came from one of our old Brewers (hi Nathaniel!) back at our original pub. Inspired by the Citra hop, a very aromatic, citrusy, and bright hop–we all agreed it was an explosion of a beer experience, hence the name Citra-Insanity = Citranity! It originally straddled the line between American Pale Ale and Session IPA categories. We tweaked it through the years so that it stands strongly and firmly in the Session IPA category, giving consumers an aromatic, bright, and balanced IPA they can drink at higher volumes without compromising their palate or their safe drinking practices. Package Sizes Available: 24 - 12oz cans/case, 1/6bbl, 1/2 bbl
Midnight Peddler - Porter - 6.2% ABV
History: Before Midnight Peddler wheeled up, there was Serendipity Porter, one of our oldest and most cherished beer recipes from when Beards first opened in 2012. Since the first time we tapped and canned this traditional English style Porter, we've had a reliable beer full of roasted, chocolatey, creamy flavors and aromas. And hey, just because this beer got a name change doesn't mean we've changed the recipe–we think this beer is perfect just the way it is. Here at Beards, we think there's something inherently Northern Michigan about offering a dark style of beer year round. Dark beer isn't just for cold seasons and sweaters and snow, it's for warm day hikes, barbeque marinades, and happy hours by the campfire. Deez Nutz - Brown Ale - 5%

Green Hundo - IPA - 7% ABV
Made with 100% Centennial hops from MI Local in Williamsburg. Citrus, pine, and orange zest come through in the nose and flavor, with a solid malt backing. Package Sizes Available: 24 - 12oz cans/case, 1/6bbl, 1/2 bbl

An astronomical ale fit for a Space Force admiral. It straddles multi-verses: fruity but not sweet, hoppy but not bitter, with aromas of fruit punch and pomegranate. Made with Michigan Copper hops from MiLocal Hops in Williamsburg, MI, in the Orion Arm of the Milky Way Galaxy. Pairs well with freeze dried ice cream, Tang, and Cylon kabobs. Born from the Northern Michigan forest, this special stout is brewed with fresh maple sap in place of water, giving it a rich, woody and earthy tone. Wet Hopped Copperstar - IPA - 6.3% ABV
Our Copperstar IPA made with fresh local Michigan Copper Hops from MI Local of Williamsburg, MI. Copperstar is an astronomical ale fit for a Space Force admiral. It straddles multi-verses: fruity but not sweet, hoppy but not bitter, with aromas of fruit punch and pomegranate. Pairs well with freeze dried ice cream, Tang, and Cylon kabobs. MI Local Hops is one of our Northern Michigan beer ingredient suppliers and we love working with them during the hop harvest season (August-September) to obtain the freshest and highest quality hops for our beers. Wet Hop Copperstar is a celebration of the Michigan hop harvest and an ode to the Michigan IPA. The Dogman - Scotch Ale - 8.3% ABV
All heed the hellacious snarl of the malevolent beast! Beware The Dogman as he prowls the woodline, where ye dare not go! Better to take shelter in the cabin with this fear quenching ale. Deep ruby in color, warming but smooth, sweet and caramely with a touch of smoke. Pairs well with late season camping, cold nights by the fire, and braised venison shanks. We made reservations for a large party on a busy New Years Eve and we were delighted to have great , attentive service! We ordered appetizers and dinners and all were delicious! I would especially recommend the lobster Mac and cheese and crispy chicken sandwich! We were impressed with the food, service and beautiful view of the Bay! We will definitely dine here again!

We had a big party and made two reservations noting that we would like the table near each other. Got to the restaurant and it was only about a quarter the way full. One of our tables was on the stage and the other on the floor. I asked the host if we could use the tables next to each other and said no the servers could not handle one large table due to staffing issues. We said that was fine and understood. We then had the same server for both tables.. confused because we were just told we would not have the same server and the reason our tables could not be on the same floor level. Placed our order..no milk or apple juice for the kids even though it was on the menu. Fine, they ran out and it is brewery. Took our order and the food came out quick. One of the pizzas were wrong and they fixed it quickly. Where the service lacked, is our server never came back to the table to see how we were doing or drop the bill. I had to go up to the server stand where the crew was all talking and listen to them talk about my family who were French and making fun of them. The crew knew I had heard and never even apologized. They never came back to the table to run our card. In which I had to go back up to the stand and have them run my card. Beards automatically adds a 18% tip to the bill which is great if I had great service but I did not. The restaurant may have been half full inside and out. It was just unacceptable service and I will not be back.

The service was very slow, despite not being very busy. The menu was very limited and the food was not very impressive. We enjoyed the good beer and views! The server had a hard time applying our $70 we paid to reserve our table. They automatically apply an 18% gratuity regardless of party size. Which maybe contributed to the slower than average service. We had been a few summers ago and had a better experience!

We did not receive the $70 credit that we paid to reserve a table, I would like to be refunded since that is ridiculous to spend $70 to reserve a table!

The menu associated with our reservation was not the same as what was presented. We chose it for the selection for our kids and they didn't like anything that was actually presented. Service was slow. The order was not correct. And it was overpriced.

They have a rule where they won’t split any bills which I would understand if it was busy but it was not. The food was sub par and like everywhere they were short staffed. Not much for options of food and what they do have has very little protein including the pork bahn mi. Won’t be going back.
