   We celebrated our 29th wedding anniversary! What an amazing dinner! Peter our waiter was outstanding. Food was amazing and the view was beautiful! Can’t wait to go back. This is a must visit

   The view is amazing! Great spot for a nice quiet lunch. We came at noon and we were the only table there. Very relaxing meal. Food was average.

   The food, service, and atmosphere were all excellent and contributed to and enjoyable dining experience. Food preparation, presentation, and taste were wonderful. Peter's service was attentive and cordial matching his knowledge and descriptions of the food selections. Would return without hesitation.

   Really great little bistro. Nice break from the resort food options and we basically got the whole place to ourselves. They even have a non advertised kid menu that was a hit. Would definitely come back!

   Overall, it was rather disappointing. It’s probably a staffing issue, but everything was very slow. We were seated 20 minutes late (the entry is small so there isn’t really anywhere to wait). The bar was being run by two “kids” who kept asking how to make things, which is fine but I wouldn’t really get a cocktail here! They were out of several menu items, which was disappointing. Overall, the food was good, although the ribeye was way underdone for medium-rare (dark red, cold center— more like what you would want with seared tuna). They were happy to put it back on the grill once we brought it to their attention. We won’t be back— for $450 (6 people) it left a lot to be desired.

   The restaurant must be having some issues because they were out of a number of things and were down to just one dessert. We asked the server what was going on and he said he didn't know, but he was suffering from it just like us. That is not a great answer. Hanger steak and walleye were both great, but the accompanying vegetables were hard as a rock. The dessert was "store bought" with fake whipped cream. The bar was empty and only a few tables filled on a Friday night.

   I made this reservation because I wanted to eat at around 9:15 and they were the only restaurant that had a table available at that time. After driving to the restaurant I find that it is closed. Won’t fool me twice…

    Always enjoy our meals at Beacon Bistro. Becca, our server, was fantastic. The food and wine were delicious. We'll be back again.
