   Our waiter Courtney was wonderful. The food was excellent. We arrived 15 min early, ordered a drink at the bar & went outside to sit & enjoy our wine. There were 6 empty seating areas & we were told we had to move unless we ordered from that waiter. We found it strange, no one was sitting in the seats, yet we couldn’t sit for 15 minutes. We stood & no one arrived to be served outside. It would have been nice if we were allowed to sit until & if the seats would have been needed.

   Our waitress Christy was fantastic! She took care of my wife’s pepper allergy with the chef. And worked our table professionally. The location is an awesome place to view the sunset.

   The Beach House was recommended to us by friends, so we made reservations before we arrived on Kauai. We were not disappointed. We had a great table by the window so that we could watch the ocean and the sunset. Our waiter Tony was great and very helpful. The food was delicious from the appetizer to the entrée to the dessert. It was a wonderful evening all around! We will definitely recommend to friends.

   This was our second time dining at The Beach House. We celebrated my son’s birthday and he enjoyed his birthday in style. Our server, Kayla, was attentive and helpful throughout our stay. We got a requested seat by the window, just in time for sunset. Overall, it is a fine dining establishment for special occasions.

   Next to last night on Kauai was a treat...we were here many years ago also. Brought back very good memories and despite the noise level was an enjoyable evening. Extremely efficient staff...open windows brought in ocean breeze...valet parking a plus. Many pleasant thoughts of island paradise accompanied our time at this evening interlude...kind of like a trip to the good old days. Truly the best place to enjoy a meal on the island of Kauai. Mahalo!

   We were excited to dine at the Beach House for our first time. It was indeed a magical event. Our server, Billy, was outstanding, attentive but not hovering. The food was absolutely delicious. My wife ordered the filet mignon and likes it RARE. It came to our table perfectly cooked. I really enjoyed my Mac nut crusted mahi. We look so forward to coming back.

    50th wedding anniversary dinner with all 14 family members. It was a beautiful evening, we were well taken care of by our lovely waitress… A very special bottle of wine brought by our adult children and a wonderful wine steward helped with the presentation.     There is no glamorous or tasteful place to eat in Poipu. The menu is small but each option is delicious. The valet parking solves what would be a terrible issue with the beautiful location. The sunset view is the best anywhere.

    Wonderful food and service as always! Tony was a wonderful waiter, thank you! The view can’t be beat even if the clouds impede the sun set 😔 We’ve always had positive experiences at the BH. Our absolute favorite restaurant on the island, best meal by far. Macadamia nut encrusted mahi and swordfish were impeccable, drinks were awesome too! 🤤 So glad it survived the pandemic, hopefully we will be back sooner than our last visit! Mahalo.

    Iconic restaurant, breathtaking location, good food, amazing service. What’s the catch ? It’s incredibly expensive. If you have a drink, an entree and either a salad OR a dessert it’s $100.00 per person .

    Very loud and a well oiled machine; get ‘em IN, get ‘em OUT. Food was decent but about 9:05 the servers started taking tables down, not the most welcoming. (Was well established in our “welcome to your reservation” blurb that we were to stay no longer then two hours, 7:30 to 9:30) Just pretty much would have rather have had sushi and cocktails on the deck at the VRBO then the over priced/hyped experience we “enjoyed”…..

    Reservations 630. Seated promptly and greeted by Kevin our waiter. Great waiter, had watermelon salad.great. Both had outstanding fish . Great sunset, split desert. Wonderful dining experience and Kevin was outstanding. Highly Recommend!

    We all had a fabulous birthday dinner last night. Our server was the absolute best! He was attentive but not hovering. Superb!! The food was beautifully prepared, delicious and throughly enjoyed by all!! We would all highly recommend getting there early for the best sunset view before dinner.

    Bar orders couldn't be filled due to no draft beer/cider (?) and no bloody mary mix. This high class establishment should be embarrassed that they didn't have these items. We wondered if the situation was to "force" patrons to order more expensive libations. Service: Server needs some training. Never gave us his name - had to ask. Never checked back on food. Let dirty dishes sit on table. Food: Shrimp special appetizer didn't seem to meet description given by server. Food was lukewarm. Steaks were undercooked but good flavor.

    The fish and seafood pasta dish I had was very bland and the flavor that was present was not good. Wife had fillet cooked medium, but was delivered medium rare at best. Her mashed potato side was served cold! Made waiter aware and he promptly brought out another side of mashed. Still cold! The waiter was good but the food was a poor value for the cost. The noise level was quite high especially considering our 7:45 pm reservation. Not going back.

    I think the first time I ate here was about 1989 and have come every time I’m back on Kauai since, I’m sure it’s changed hands multiple times but the menu as it is now is incredibly limited. Food was just sort of alright though the wife really enjoyed the macadamia crusted mahi. I may skip it next time

    First time that relatives visited Kaua’i. The sunset was disappointing, but the whale-watching was spectacular! The table was PERFECT and the waiter was exceptional!

    Filet Entee was excellent. Only bad food was side of kale which was tough and hard to chew. Better choice of vegetable would be broccoli, spinach or green beans. Atmosphere and service were outstanding!

    Such a beautiful spot for dinner on Kauai! We were seated promptly with a beautiful view of the ocean. Our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed the green bean appetizer, salads and filet and wasabi local fish. Everything was delicious. Sunset was perfect and the view can’t be beat. Definitely a must while visiting Poipu. Very busy restaurant but did not feel rushed at all. Perfect evening!

    Excellent food and service - we had their signature monkeypod maitais which were very good! The watermelon salad and mahi mahi dish was delicious. The coconut crème brûlée with the ginger cookies was very good too! Overall a great experience !
