Our stunning ocean-front location with spectacular sunsets makes the Beach House an iconic destination on Kauai's south shore that has won the Hale 'Aina Award for "Best Restaurant - Kauai" for 20+ years.

Our philosophy at the Beach House is simple - take aloha, blend it with fresh and high-quality ingredients, and add an ocean view to deliver a handcrafted, Hawaiian experience. Executive Chef Marshall Blanchard makes the most of local ingredients by sourcing our fish directly from island fisherman and our beef from neighboring ranches. We incorporate fresh and local produce throughout our menu, highlighting Hawai'i farms and the resources that surround Kauai.

Reservations are highly recommended for a dining room table in our open-air restaurant. We also offer lounge seating on our lawn, where the full menu and full service are available on a first-come-first-serve basis. Please check in with the bar host for lawn seating.

Views were fantastic and our server was wonderful! I was disappointed in the limited menu and the price point was very high for the amount of food you get.

First of all the food is overpriced and poor quality. The bread and oil is something you can get at Safeway or Costco. The filet is something you could get at Applebees for a fraction of the cost. The potatoes were gummy and the vegetable was like something you get at school cafeteria. The drinks were mediocre and overpriced nothing to brag about. The service is terrible no customer service and not attentive at all. Our waiter never asked how we were doing or if we needed anything. The best part of our experience here was the valet service. Overall I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone especially for a special occasion. Save yourself your time and money and go somewhere else.

We had a wonderful time. We got there earlier than our reservation and they sat us. We had the perfect view of the ocean. The glass doors were open so we could hear the waves as we enjoyed the surfers. Our server, Michaela, was phenomenal. So friendly and attentive. I have some food allergies and they were able to easily accommodate. Valet parking is great. They were busy when we left and it took seconds for them to find our car. They have a great system. Overall this was one of our best experiences at any restaurant we’ve ever visited.

Nate was awesome - knowledgeable and kind. Recommendations were spot on. Filet was one of the most tender I’ve ever had. Mai tai was amazing.

Good food and great atmosphere. Very popular and busy. Everyone comes to see the sunset, but most tables have a good view.

Amazing restaurant with spectacular views. Food was delicious. Cocktails unique. Service was absolutely fabulous. I was apprehensive about going here because of the prices but it was well worth it. We will return.

The view was amazing. Beautiful sunset. The food was very good. Had a fish taco that was not on the menu and shared the lobster pasta. Just great, the pasta was much lighter than most with great flavor. The cocktails were Good as well. The server was personable and helpful. The service is very slow. We waited 20 minutes to place our order. If you know it will be slow just enjoy the views and ambiance while waiting for good food.
