Our stunning ocean-front location with spectacular sunsets makes the Beach House an iconic destination on Kauai's south shore that has won the Hale 'Aina Award for "Best Restaurant - Kauai" for 20+ years.

Our philosophy at the Beach House is simple - take aloha, blend it with fresh and high-quality ingredients, and add an ocean view to deliver a handcrafted, Hawaiian experience. Executive Chef Marshall Blanchard makes the most of local ingredients by sourcing our fish directly from island fisherman and our beef from neighboring ranches. We incorporate fresh and local produce throughout our menu, highlighting Hawai'i farms and the resources that surround Kauai.

Reservations are highly recommended for a dining room table in our open-air restaurant. We also offer lounge seating on our lawn, where the full menu and full service are available on a first-come-first-serve basis. Please check in with the bar host for lawn seating.

The view was amazing. Beautiful sunset. The food was very good. Had a fish taco that was not on the menu and shared the lobster pasta. Just great, the pasta was much lighter than most with great flavor. The cocktails were Good as well. The server was personable and helpful. The service is very slow. We waited 20 minutes to place our order. If you know it will be slow just enjoy the views and ambiance while waiting for good food.

Amazing experience! Big shout out to Chad and the service staff. Fantastic fresh seafood. Ambience was perfect - seats with a crystal clear ocean view.

Seared Ahi was perfect! Mahi Mahi was excellent. The Beurre Blanc sauce was just fabulous.

The drinks & the seafood was the best on the Island. The view of the the sunset was worthy of all the hype. We truly enjoyed our experience at the Beach House

Beautiful inside and outside. At sunset when the patrons ran out to take pictures the waiters and waitresses came out to take pictures of the couples with sunset in the back. Nothing could be more perfect. The food was absolutely delicious. Steak cut like butter, lobster, soft, and sweet. Pasta fantastic there to special occasions.

Walking in, you notice an award that says best restaurant in Hawaii in 2022. Hopes were high, the menu sounded delicious. We had a reservation and were allowed to sit on the lawn chairs to wait while they got our table ready. The sunset view was immaculate. We ordered 2 waters and 2 beers with the server. The server came back with 2 waters and the bill and never brought us alcohol. We had to remind the waiter and we finally got the beers, paid the bill and then got seated at our table. They put us in the corner farthest from the windows by some weirdly hung art and fake flowers. focaccia was good, everything else was sub par for the exhorbitant prices. The “coconut shrimp” was just shrimp with coconut milk dumped on one side of the dish. The salad was good, but it’s a salad- would be hard to mess up putting a few raw vegetables together. The mains were not good. For $60 someone got an overcooked piece of fish with no flavor. Another person got scallops and they came with what looked like canned cream corn. Lastly they were nice to bring us free dessert to celebrate a birthday- but they used hersheys syrup as the base. Everything was just ok for the huge price tag. The next day we went to the hotel terrace and for 1/2 the price got better food and a better view.

PuPu’s were delicious! Signature drinks delicious and Seth the bartender fantastic; however, $21 for a gin martini is ridiculous and $19 for a glass of Chardonnay exorbitant! Dinner service was good and the Mahi Mahi fresh fish of the day very good although it was sent back because the first go round was way overcooked. Mushroom tart sounded like a delicious choice but it was lacking, too, in that Hawaiian bread fruit mixed in detracting from overall quality. Lobster bisque was flavorless and way too thick and we asked it be taken off the bill. The Beach House is a lovely setting but that doesn’t justify the prices for meals and drinks.

Excellent food and service. The view is beautiful and it seemed like almost every table had a a great angle of the ocean. Our server Steven was attentive and was really friendly. He did a fantastic job making our dinner one we will remember for years to come.
