Our stunning ocean-front location with spectacular sunsets makes the Beach House an iconic destination on Kauai's south shore that has won the Hale 'Aina Award for "Best Restaurant - Kauai" for 20+ years.

Our philosophy at the Beach House is simple - take aloha, blend it with fresh and high-quality ingredients, and add an ocean view to deliver a handcrafted, Hawaiian experience. Executive Chef Marshall Blanchard makes the most of local ingredients by sourcing our fish directly from island fisherman and our beef from neighboring ranches. We incorporate fresh and local produce throughout our menu, highlighting Hawai'i farms and the resources that surround Kauai.

Reservations are highly recommended for a dining room table in our open-air restaurant. We also offer lounge seating on our lawn, where the full menu and full service are available on a first-come-first-serve basis. Please check in with the bar host for lawn seating.

Absolutely amazing experience. From the stunning views to the amazing food and friendly staff. Everything was great and we couldn’t recommend this place more. Seth the bartender and Rose our server went above and beyond. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful dinner at The Beach House in Kauai, an unbeatable location right on the beach with a view that’s hard to match. Nate, our server, was excellent: friendly, attentive, and full of great recommendations. He also went out of his way to help us capture a perfect family photo with the sunset in the background, which made the evening even more memorable. The food was very good overall. Our table ordered the Ahi, the macadamia crusted Mahi, the Seafood Pasta, and the Filet. The filet and pasta were both done perfectly, tender and flavorful. One of the fish dishes was a bit on the dry side, but still enjoyable. The wine list was excellent with some surprisingly good values. This is definitely a great spot for a special meal, good food, great service, and an incredible setting. One thing to note: although we had booked our table well in advance and confirmed the day before, our table wasn’t ready when we arrived. We were seated about 15 minutes after our reservation time and unfortunately missed the sunset. That said, we were eventually seated at a table with a beautiful view, and the rest of the experience more than made up for it. Highly recommend The Beach House for a memorable evening by the water.

Great place for Mother’s Day and our anniversary dinner combined. Server was awesome and very attentive. Got a great seat on the patio overlooking the ocean and surfers. Server took our picture at sunset on the grass during dinner no problem.

The food was great. The view was fantastic. The service was not good. We were there for almost an hour before our food order was taken, and we had to ask another waitress for something that was missing. Thankfully we had attentive people refilling our water because no one ever asked if we would like a drink refill.

Third visit on our family vacation. Booked 2 months in advance as it is always busy & it was Mother’s Day. Made sure to be on time. I was disappointed being set outside without being asked. However Brandon our server Did a great job with service & suggestions. Great filet mignon & Tiramisu was the star!⭐️

My son and I were there for Mother’s Day and our server, John, made me feel so special. Thanks Beach House and especially John for making our dinner wonderful.

I wanted to find a nice restaurant to celebrate a birthday that included ambiance and great tasting food — and Beach House delivered.

Yes of course, views are stunning. But save yourself the trouble of contributing to this tourist trap. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. Second time in Kauai and decided to give this place another shot (even after the first time was nothing to rave about), only to be crammed all the way back in the corner of the restaurant (after making reservations a month ahead of time with special celebratory notes in the comments), and be served a $300 dinner that sat under the heat lamps for so long the plate scalded my daughter and my mashed potatoes had a film over them. Add the young rude hostesses to the list and you have yourself a restaurant that will never get our money again. Only good thing, the Fire & Ice drink my husband enjoyed.
