Service was "detached" at best and the food was marginal. Came highly rated...not sure why. We were extremely disappointed.

BB's is one of our go to places. The food and service are excellent and it is one of the few places in Aspen where you can converse and not be drowned out by loud music or crowd noise. Great kale salad. Wonderful scallop and duck mains.

We had dined at bb's previously and decided to return for a "date night". We arrived early, so it was very quiet at first, but then got a little livelier. The staff asked if we needed to be somewhere else later in the evening, and we did, so we appreciated them being aware of that deadline. The food was delicious and we had a lovely evening.

Wonderful meal - we had the steamed buns, the chicken liver mousse, burrata salad with peaches and the halibut special. All were just stellar! The bread for the table was served with an olive tapenade, olive oil and some ricotta spread. Not inexpensive, but a good value. We'll be back when in Aspen!

A real gem in Aspen! Very creative cuisine. Service, ambiance, and decor all lend themselves to a memorable experience. Extensive and thoughtfully planned wine list.

During our visit to Aspen, my wife and I had the opportunity to eat lunch and dinner at BB's. John and the staff made us feel right at home. The food and service were top notch. All meals were well prepared and full of flavor. Our favorites were the Rachel (their take on the classic Rubin), BB burger, lamb chops, and corn chowder. BB's is a must visit and will be a regular stop for us during subsequent visits.

Bbs welcome was inviting and the patio had great views of Ajax Mountain. The wine selection by the glass was interesting and the selection of appetizers was varied. The ahi poke was good, and their bread is also delicious. My entree of scallops was a great choice and my husbands buffalo tenderloin was also good. The servers were friendly and provided very good service. We will definitely return.
