We had a great brunch. The food is really great as was the service. Such a cute spot also.
It is a small space so noise level is quite high, not a place to go for a quiet dinner. The blue crab beignets were quite tasty. Their Cajun chicken as simple as it sounds is quite filling and delicious. Skip the mac and cheese, it was alright but nothing special. Banana pudding is worth the calories.
Birthday. For was just ok.
Exceptional service, reasonable prices, just what I was looking for in dinner on the way to Rocket game.
Great time and place. Hadn't been yet, so glad to finally have made it there. Will be back. HH looks like it is a good one as well.
AMAZING experience as always!! Outdoor patio was perfect. Food was absolutely delicious. And service was superb.
Saturday brunch menu was inviting. We ordered crab beignets. They were delicious.
One of us ordered an omelette it was good. The other ordered a crawfish hash with poached egg, There was one egg and huge slab of mashed potatoes that were grilled with onions. The sauce was weak. The crawfish was minuscule. It’s crawfish season! Spice was good but seriously for folks from our area, no excuse on crawfish skimping.
B B Lemon miles we’re spot on🎉
Good place to go for simple but tasty menu and good cocktails. Just don’t be in a hurry!
We had the worst service we’ve ever experienced. We were there for a very special celebration and our server not only was not friendly, she was adamant to make us all miserable on purpose. We shared some of what happened with the manager and they took 1 item off the bill. This is a big disappointment and B&B butcher has such a different attitude and kindness vs feeling uncomfortable and if we were to ask for anything including water we’d get major attitude. I’m actually thinking of writing a letter to the Cron and Eater so they know exactly what kind of experience they are dishing out. When the server purposely closed the door in my face and smiled, I continued to stay above it and just let it go. Who does that? Miserable experience to say the least!
The food is very good, at least the items we had, the staff is friendly and prompt, and the environment nice. The drink prices are too high although not different from most "hip" places these days. It is good that they have an covered outdoor patio because the building is quite small and can't accommodate many people. The parking is also limited and valet-only during peak times. We parked on a nearby street as I do not like ever to use valet parking. In any case, this is our second time at BB Lemon and I would go back.
Small place - can be crowded and noisy when full. Food is good, service was good.
This is a big bar scene. When that settles down the restaurant quoted down and was less crowded. Food was very salty. The fish of the day special was ok at best. Burger over cooked, desert was good
Found a hair in the fish and chips. And the broccoli and cheese was poor as the broccoli was so wet that it diluted what little cheese there was. We received a very brief apology (one sentence) from manager about the hair. We left all of our food because we were no longer hungry and they only comped the fish
This is about my 20th visit. Bar is always fun. Manhattan is the best in Houston.
They remember your name when you come back.
Free popcorn and great HH. Free valet parking, they guys are great give them a nice tip 😉
This place needs more time to deal with large lunch and dinner crowds. The kitchen was overwhelmed when we dined there. I was looking forward to the lobster roll, especially since it was priced at $26. Sadly, my hopes were not met. The roll was hard and dry and very unappealing. If you're going to offer a lobster roll, go to the source and get the right bread. The chicken salad was just as unappealing and very boring. I don't think we'll be heading back to this place and certainly will pay the prices that are charged.
Completely underwhelmed by this restaurant. Perhaps all the hype distorted my expectations, but I found it to be lacking from start to finish. Service was poor as if they were understaffed. Food was absolutely not worth the price point, especially the oysters!
Lovely place. Super cute, great location, and awesome food. Pork schnitzel took home first place, but French onion soup, Fried chicken sandwich, and fish and chips were close behind. We will be back!
It’s a little cramped but the atmosphere is lively and the food is amazing.
Food was not exceptional - average at best. Service was okay to slow.
Sat outside with two grandchildren. The green space is perfect; the food was great.
I had a reservation that was supposed to put us in a booth. Instead, we were seated in the worst table, right by the door. The inept hostess told us that she had seated our group in a booth, wondering why we were at this table. Pointless to argue with her.
The pork schnitzel was very under seasoned and tough, being fried for too long. The poached egg was overcooked too, with no oozing of the yolk. Very disappointing.
The woman seating us (we had a reservation) refused to seat us at the table I wanted saying it was a\"server issue" I did not want to sit at the table next to the door leading outside.
Loud, crowded, and overpriced
Nothing Special considering all the hype. There are lots of places that are much better values.
Everyone in our group enjoyed their meals and all of the items we all shared, including the cottage fries and the watermelon and feta salad. Don’t miss the crab beignets!
Went for brunch for the first time food was really good. Waitress was short handed and took a bit longer than normal to get served but managers picked up the slack.
It was nice to dine under the heated patio, but I’d much rather be here on a warm day dinning in the courtyard. It’s a beautiful space and the energy is warm. Food was good and their cocktails are a treat too!
Tried the hamburger and was not disappointed! And heard the grilled cheese was pretty good, too! It is a small place - the addition of the covered, enclosed outdoor area was a great idea.
Loved it! The food and atmosphere was great!
Loved having a cocktail outside before sitting down to dinner. The chopped steak was delicious and brussel sprouts perfect. I love the ambiance of this restaurant. It is intimate and has seating inside and out.
Outstsnding! Best grilled cheese sandwich and tomato soup I have had in a long long time. Great service and a very helpful and polite Assistant Manager, Jeff. He really cares.
Service was great. Food was way too salty.....it was disappointing because we have been there several times and the food was fine
Overall, we had a nice experience and would return. However, it was not exceptional. I thought the crab beignets were delicious but my friends thought it was too bready and not enough crab mixed in ... too many other fillers were in it. My sister ordered the steak frites medium rare ... it came out medium well, but she didn’t complain. It was tasty but clearly over cooked. The clam chowder bread bowl was absolutely delicious. Hopefully, we will have an even better experience next time.
Diverse menu with several, delicious items. We ate there for brunch and everyone in our party of 6 enjoyed their food. Our waiter was not the best, but the management realized it and stepped in to assist. Would definitely return.
I ordered the catfish which was not fried crispy like I like it. The batter was not crunchy. The noise level towards the end of our evening with friends escalated to a point that made it difficult to have a conversion. Overall the service was good.
Food and service was good, but was extremely noisy, even on the patio! We weren't able to carry on a conversation, really, it was so noisy.
Birthday dinner and have wanted to try BB Lemon. Thr crab beignets were delicious. And the French Onion soup was excellent. My husband had the chili which was tasty but a bit too salty. We shared the patty melt and it was really good. Nice cocktails and great ambience.
They have a strong brunch menu. The blue crab beignets were amazing. The cornbread waffle with pulled pork was recommended but was a little to dry and sweet. The drinks were just okay and on the pricier side for brunch. I will definitely return to try something else. The patio looked really nice and might be less noisy than the inside.
I love B&B and now I have found another place to frequent. This place is awesome!! The food was amazing and so was the staff. I will be back again very soon! Mr. Berg and co. have hit another home run!
