Nice location but food is average quality wise compared to the price. I would have expected better but quality for the higher price. However the location is great and nice ambiance .

Living here we have been staying, dining etc at this property for years. We had dinner here at Bayside Grill just prior to them closing to remodel and thought we would it check out now that everything’s complete. Unfortunately it was just as disappointing as our last visit. The staff is very friendly but the kitchen was extremely slow and once the food arrived my grouper was rubbery and tasted like it had sat for a while before being brought out. My sons was the same, my daughters wrap was fine and my other son had the steak which was ok.
I’m not sure what changed from a management perspective in the past couple years but sadly we won’t dine here again.

Food was acceptable but not outstanding.

Service was spotty, server was sweet but clearly had too many tables and could not give us the attention she wanted too.

It is a very noisy place and not necessarily in a good way. It’s hard to hear the conversation at your table.

Enjoyed our meal; the sunset and putting green. Good value. Strawberry lime cider was very good; burgers and shrimp Cobb salad. Location is spectacular

I was so very disappointed with the quality of service and food for the price. I knew it might not be great but all 4 of us agreed we hadn’t eaten a worse meal in the whole Fairhope area. Truthfully, I am an easygoing patron but this was beyond me overlooking it because of special event. Hoping Marriott will intervene and up their game. Such a beautiful setting for such less than mediocre food. Will say that the staff was friendly!

Vacay-ate dinner there twice and thoroughly enjoyed food and wine and watching our 6 year old son play putt-putt while we dined. Fed him a room service cheese pizza while we got dressed- almost like a date night!!

Waitress took way to long between orders and took 20 minutes to get the check . We have been there twice in the last 2 months and both times the service was bad

Great customer service and delicious food!! We were celebrating a family member's birthday. The food took a while to prepare then was delivered room temperature. They seemed understaffed for a Holiday weekend. When we expressed our concerns, the staff went above and beyond to take care of us. Our food was remade. This time it came out hot and tasted delightful!! The server, managers and chef all came to our table to apologize. Exceptional customer service! Would highly recommend!

The service and food at Bayside Grill left much to be desired. The view is the best thing about the place. We were so excited to try the new restaurant out, but it was lacking. The service was extremely slow, had to ask for napkins, utensils, drink refills, food took forever to be delivered, and the check with wrong once we finally received it. Very disappointed for a place we love to visit.

The food was average and while our server was pleasant, he was not very effective. He immediately wanted to take our order and seemed confused when I asked for time to look at the menu. Our knives were taken after apps and even though we asked for new knives, they never appeared (and my son had a steak). I finally took from an empty table. Mediocre all the way around.

Our meals were outstanding! I had the filet and grilled vegetables. We were a party of three and my guests' meals were also outstanding. Interesting twists to the ordinary create extraordinary dining experiences! That was OUR experience.

Salads were huge mounds of greens but not much else. Would have liked less greens as they got thrown out. Service however was very good and we always love the atmosphere.

It's OK. Do not let the website photos and expansive menu and prices fool you - this is a burger and fries option. The ambiance is exactly what the name says - a diner - a place for a quick meal. Our party had an appetizer and 3 meals - 2 were tasty, the third was a steak - ordered medium that came out well done. The pimento cheese appetizer was tasteless.

My wife and I were on a Road Scholar educational trip to Fairhope, AL. We stayed in the Marriott Grand Hotel Resort. On Tuesday night, we invited some family members who lived nearby to have dinner with us at the Grand Hotel. In advance, I chose the table overlooking Mobile Bay and the lawn. The table was ready for us. The waiter was most personable. My cousin John and I had the pizza. My wife had a huge salad. I don't remember what my niece, her husband and their son ordered, but everyone seemed to to enjoy their meal. The conversation never flagged.
After the dinner, we went to our spacious hotel room and talked, and talked, and talked. Because we dined in the hotel, their parking fees were waived. It was a wonderful evening that will be a highlight of our memories.

Our experience was quite mixed. The dining room is gorgeous, with great views of Mobile Bay and the Grand Hotel grounds. They need to work on logistics. There was more of a wait for a confirmed reservation than usual, and we noticed several other parties had the same issue. The wait staff were all very efficient and professional, but they obviously had some kitchen issues since our food waits were excessive as well. One entree was outstanding and one was just ok. Overall, they need to do better, situated in a first class resort with high prices. We plan to try them again in the near future and see if things improve.
