The ambiance was relaxing, service and food were good. I plan to return soon!
The servers were AMAZING! Jennifer waited on us and the bartender was AMAZING too, although I didn’t catch his name. I took my Aunt here for her birthday and the staff was so warm, fun and friendly…they helped us have a memorable celebration. I felt like it was my birthday too and my fav had to have been when the entire staff sang Happy Birthday! I’m a stickler for ambiance, food and great customer service and ambiance and service did not disappoint, however food did! We had the restaurant week menu because I love supporting a worthy cause but the fish tacos and the brownie were our least favorites and would not recommend.
Everything about the experience was perfect!! The service, the ambience, the drinks and the food were great. We visited for a friend’s birthday and the atmosphere was perfect for great conversation.
One server for the entire floor? This is the Four Seasons right? Ordered cocktails—one was so bad we sent it back after one sip. Still charged $15 for it. The other was a mint julep that had zero simple syrup in it—-ice, ice, ice, whiskey and mint. Took forever to put in an order, had to ask the server to wipe down the table, had to ask for utensils and napkins.... Start to finish was below par.
I was hoping to make this place our official pregame spot before events at the Toyota center. Might be rethinking the strategy. Have been here about a handful of times or so...this might be our last visit. Poor overall.
solid solo dining destination. quiet chill bar with very reasonably priced options.
We arrived and were immediately seated at a high table. The service was good from the first few rounds of drinks to the dinner and final desert. My customers enjoyed the nice appearance of Bayou & Bottle but the casual atmosphere. We did not play at the Top Golf facility, but it looked nice. I would definitely host another dinner here if possible.
I had a reservation for lunch on a Wednesday with 5 of my coworkers. I confirmed it the day before. The day of the reservation an additional coworker RSVP'd yes so I called the restaurant and left a message that there would actually be 7 people on my reservation. When we arrived we were told that they don't take reservations on Wednesdays for lunch. There weren't any open tables and we wound up going upstairs to Quattro and spending twice as much as planned.
Bayou & Bottle had 3 opportunities to let me know they didn't take reservations on Wednesdays for lunch and failed to do so each time. I provided this feedback on the Four Seasons website and got no response. And it is still possible to make reservations for Wednesday lunches on Open Table.
Although the staff clearly did not know about our reservation, it took only seconds before we were seated. Service was sharp and the food and cocktails were on point. Perfect spot in downtown Houston.
good ambiance , friendly staffs, good food. quiet.
The waitress was friendly and attentive. I enjoyed the service more than the food.
Comfortable and nice bar scene lounge area. Food is good for the price. Good for eating alone also.
Very nice bar scene. Comfortable enviornment with great food at good value.,
The food took way too long considering it was a slow afternoon.
Jennifer tended to our every need. Food was delicious! Ordered the mouth watering..Bayou Burger and had the Pecan Tart for dessert. Fantastic, would definitely come back.
Quiet yet comfortable bar ambiance. Good food.
The food is mediocre for a 5- star hotel; from taste, presentation, and value for money. Nothing in the menu screams a must-try-at-four-seasons-only-do-it-best.
It was a slow service for brunch. We were the first to arrive but not the first to get our food.
quiet ambiance. good food and service. great value.
Great quiet bar with great ambiance . good for a casual quick bite.
Great food, there was a lot of noise and people because in the hotel there were some VIPs staying (Real Madrid team) and there were many fans waiting to see the players. The hotel lobby was full. Valet parking was really slow.
A very chill and comfortable bar spot. Good is also great.
Great bar ambiance. Great for a quick bite.
Always a great spot for a quick casual bite. Great ambiance.
Awesome place to eat casual food in a comfortable setting.
The very best juicy burger in town
We dined before a concert so reserved a booth which was just perfect. The guacamole was the best we have had in Houston served with house made chips. Snapper tempura, fish tacos and the burger made with brisket meat were all delicious and devoured by each guest. Just perfect in every way!
Got for the bourbon not the food.
Mark Sexton the manager was extraordinarily nice very outgoing very friendly invited us to try the four seasons in our area which is where he used to work before he came to Houston which we truly intend to do. He was a delightful person and we enjoyed meeting him
Attentive service. Quality food. Very relaxing environment.
Service could have been better. Waited for servers for long time when needing something. Tried calling them over multiple times but they acted like they didnt hear me and its not loud inside. Food and atmosphere was fair. Will eat again if in the area or if someone else picks it. But wont be my first or second suggestion.
I've been there ~10 times now since they opened. LOVE IT!. 5 STARS
Great food. Very slow service. The place lacks atmosphere. Could be great with more attentive service.
Ambiente tranquilo con muy buen servicio.
Comida y bebidas excelente.
It's a typical upscale business hotel bar. The liveliness depends on what group is in town. Bartenders were attentive and competent. Food was very good but not a place I would return to unless I was staying at the Four Seasons again which was very nice and convenient to the convention center.
Our waiter was not attentive. He was friendly though. The food was so so. Sadly I have no desire to return.
Great cocktails, and tasty treats, with seriously one of the best simple burgers in Houston. They know it too, which is why it will cost you $15, but it’s well worth it when paired with their crisp and yummy fries!
We ordered the meat and cheese plate and it tasted like the cheese and meat had been sitting out awhile. The queso was absolutely delicious! I did not like our server. In fact, I asked for another server because she was so cold and rude. She was only friendly to her “regulars.” However, Charlene helped us when the other server was away and she was fantastic! I was disappointed to hear she wouldn’t receive our tip, though!
Delicious food and excellent service. Would go again just for the Bayou Burger!
