Only 1 staff member upfront to seat people. Once we got in, service was attentive and friendly. Burrata was overall very good but a little different than what I expected (less garlic bread and more honey bread). Not many options for vegetarians in the mains ..or actually I don't think there were *any* which is disappointing however made up for in the starters selections. Their daily $5 beer special is a good deal. Gets loud quickly.

Excellent recommendations from the server motivated us to share a charcuterie and cheese board with a dark "roasted" beer. Our guests choices were less successful, mostly because of grotesquely thick bread on French toast and "Reuben" (surely must be served on rye?). They left half their plate unfinished before heading off to a matinee of Hamilton.

Batch is a nice spot and the food has been great in the past. This time however the advertised special was not available, the replacement took longer than expected. There was 8 of us and we got our food at different times. We didn’t get any food delivered to the table for an hour. The staff and manager did what they could and were helpful but the food was not hot when it finally arrived and my steak was over cooked. It was truly disappointing and not up to their usual standards.

the lamb burger was outstanding, moist flavourful (i few too many charred red onions for my liking but no big deal)

Overall, everything was a okay.... However we were hoping to get a table in a cozy room with lights. But it was closed for private event which we didn't see throughout our stay.

All so great!! Appetizers - Duck, Fries, Calamari were superb; Mains - BATCH burger, Crispy Chicken sandwich, Lamb Biriyani, NY Strip Steak, Short Ribs all were outstanding; Service was really great - attentive without always being there and when there, making sure everything was right.

The staff were awesome - great beer recommendations and very accommodating. The food was very nice, a little pricey, but we recognize that the ingredient were fresh & local. Heading back today!!
