   overall, the experience was pretty good, just not what i'd call great. we had the valentine's special price fixe menu. the oysters were actually too frozen, too much ice. but the two entrees were quite good, and the chocolate fondue was quite tasty. the waiter was nice, courteous, friendly, helpful. the atmosphere was really a bit too loud for casual conversation; a lot of music from outside.

   Location was very nice. There was a singer in the plaza and we were seated outdoors, so it was perfect bec we could listen to the guy sing. Food was good. The crispy gnocchi was the star of the show. The rigatoni vodka was pretty decent. Overall service was good, staff was friendly.

   The staff and the GM are nothing short of amazing! True reflection of Sam, their leader. The food was fresh and tasty. All 6 of us loved what we ordered. Location on a Saturday…prime time people watching during the farmers market. Chefs kiss to Basta!! Thank you!!

   Wonderful pasta dishes, Meatball and spaghettis! First time at one of Sam’s restaurant’s and it did not disappoint.

   Food was meh. Looking forward to what they’d do with the sardines dish - not much. That was underwhelming.

   Wonderful experience and great food. The live musician outside was way loud but the atmosphere is good so we took it in stride.

    The cooked food overall was not hot enough when served. The beet salad was awesome. The rigatoni with the added meatball was excellent (meatball was warm, not hot). The scallops were so salty we had to return the dish.
