   This was my second time going to Basil Ginger and it was just as good as the first visit! We had a great lunch with fabulous service! The waitstaff all served us and we never had to wait. The lunch came out quickly and it was prepared just as we ordered. I will definitely visit there again!

   Had my birthday dinner at this fabulous restaurant. There were four of us for the occasion. We ordered appetizers, tempura shrimp and two styles of spring rolls. All was yummy, especially the dipping sauces. I ordered a sm cup of hot and sour soup. Right up the with the best I’ve ever had. We also ordered four other dishes. They came out way too early. That’s my only negative. The kitchen was a little too Johnny-on-the-spot. But the dishes were excellent. We had the Basil stir fry Ka-Pao with beef was fabulous. The beef was so tender and flavorful. Pad Thai was very good, interesting. A much different flavor than I’ve ever had before. Wow! The green curry/Kang Khew Whan was really spicy! Almost a little much for me, but I’m not a fan of really hot. But every one else enjoyed it. We had this dish with prawns. Yummmm. The last dish was ordinary beef with broccoli. However, it was excellent. You know how sometimes beef dishes at some restaurants somehow taste the same, even though they are different dishes? Not so here. The beef was as tender as the other dish, but had it’s own delicious flavor. All in all, I absolutely recommend this restaurant. It’s now on my A list! Just remember to ask for the kitchen to hold off a bit between each course. I hope you enjoy your experience as I truly enjoyed mine! Happy Birthday to me!! Oh! Our server and her team were exemplary! Loved her a lot!

   It was my birthday dinner. We walked in and the wait was looking long, but the reservation got us seated right away! The food was fresh and flavorful! The staff was friendly and welcoming. It was a great dining experience! The one improvement I would suggest is the “to go box” was a plastic container like you get olives in for the olive bar at Fred Meyer. Although I can reuse it, in such a trendy restaurant I would have liked to see something non-plastic and biodegradable.

   Service was very good - staff friendly. Disappointed with the calamari appetizer. The rest of my meal was good (had the Pad Thai.

   Vegans can change out the meat in many a dish for tofu. That helps to make the menu much more plant-based food-friendly.
