   Our group of 4 ordered mostly small plates and 2 pizzas. Everything we ordered was very flavorful, but a few things lacked seasoning (salt) such as the mushrooms and onion rings. The octopus was excellent as was the hot honey pizza. The halloumi cheese with watermelon was so good! We also tried the tuna and the falafel, which were both good, but nothing special. Their homemade tahini was so good we wanted a whole container of it to take home! One entree was ordered - the lamb shank. Those who shared it said how tender and perfectly cooked it was. They loved it! Our drinks were wonderful too - the espresso martinis were excellent, as was the strawberry lemonade mocktail. Our server was great too! Very attentive & helpful.

   Overall, we had a good time. But when we first sat down, we were given the option of sparkling or still, and my partner unfortunately said still not realizing tap was an option. It is an option! $9 water. I don’t like that sneaky maneuver. We enjoyed the food, but felt like the menu was a little all over the place. It’s a little Mediterranean, but American and there’s pizza. The space is very tight. My partner thought the TV screen was distracting, it was just scenery pictures. I hope the menu develops more and this restaurant does well in Stamford.

   The four of us shared small plates! Our absolute favorite was the octopus; it was so tender and cooked perfectly. The halloumi cheese with watermelon was very good. We loved the crispy cauliflower with a fabulous sauce. The French fries had a sauce on them, too, and they were just scrumptious! Meatballs, beet salad, green goddess salad. I want to try more. We will go back soon!

   Enjoyed our experience here. It’s nice to have a different type of restaurant in Stamford. Beef bourguignon was a real stand out

   The food and service was wonderful! We brought our girls (young), this is our 2nd time and so far it is the only restaurant they asked to go back to- for the cauliflower no less! Delicious food!

   My party of three was the only party in the restaurant between the hours of 12 and 145. Two of us had the chicken Shawarma, and it was not very tasty or memorable. The pita was hard and crispy and the filling inside was rather nondescript I was expecting a real chicken Shawarma.  my friend Husband had the same thing, and felt the same way. I did that it was not exceptional. My other guest had the tomato and cucumber salad with salmon which she wanted rare which was cooked well done and she said it had no flavor of dressing and took the other half home just to be polite.  a neighbor of mine said that she had been there last night for dinner, it was very quiet, but dinner was very good. She said the Bronzino was excellent. I will give you another try one night for dinner as the dinner menu seem to have more exciting choices than the lunch menu. I wish you good luck. You’re in a great spot make the best of it.!😊👍

   We were at BV last night, and the food was delicious. The food presentation is beautiful. The best humus, burger, and tuna tartar I had in a long time. For desert, the chocolate fondant was insanely delicious. Awesome wine menu. Will definitely come back.... actually, this coming Monday I'll be coming back for my birthday 🎂 celebration with my gals. The best!!! Well done, BV team!

   Our lovely server was knowledgeable and attentive. Each dish we tried was special and had deep and delicious flavors. We can’t wait to return to this new and wonderful gem of a restaurant!
