The food was excellent and the portions very generous. The chopped salad was big and could easily be shared as an app by three to four people. My filet mignon was cooked perfectly, medium rare, crispy on the outside and tender in the middle. The carrot cake is very special! The music was delightful and the restaurant’s interior was very chic. Service was very good and I really liked the food options on the menu. I hope to return there again someday!

Servers and host were nice and accommodating . The food was over-seasoned and salty. It came to the table lukewarm. The server took it back to reheat without complaint. We’ve eaten at Barringers many times before and were disappointed. Brussel sprouted too greasy, carpaccio way too salty, truffle fries were lukewarm with too much goop on them, beef stroganoff while tasty was cool. Wine and beer was good. When our bill came, the prices were not the same as our menus. We did not complain or anything but were surprised. A few tweaks and I’m sure every could be “fixed.”

Excellent food. Always hot and delicious. Flavors are incredible. One of the best meals in the entire door county peninsula.

Barringer's food never disappoints. Our food was exceptional. Service was slow and not as professional as we are accustomed to. The server had blue jeans and converse tennis shoes on and was not as 'buttoned up' as we are accustomed to. As a result, the value for the money was a bit lower.

We had a very early reservation (due to the later times being booked already), so we were for awhile the only diners in the restaurant. But the service and food was excellent! The sauce on the scallop entree was spectacular and the Delmonico ribeye was cooked perfectly. Thank you for a lovely evening that allowed for a beautiful walk afterwards.

Food and drinks outstanding, waiter forgot to put in app order and just brought out meals. No offer of taking it to go or drink on house for inconvenience.

Had a 5:30 reservation. First time there and chose based on the reviews. Gave our name and were seated at the worst possible table in the place. A tiny narrow table squeezed between a larger table and the side of the stairs right next to the front door. Didn’t even sit and my husband looked around, noticed quite a few open tables, and asked to sit somewhere else. Specifically asked for one of the many open tables up the stairs in the back. The girl’s reaction was so confusing. She looked around, made a scrunched face and told us that she couldn’t give us any other table because they were all for people with reservations. WHAT?!! We looked at each other and said ok well we have a reservation! We were not being loud, demanding or rude to her but she was not going to give us a different table and my husband was ready to leave and go somewhere else. He then noticed several bar seats open and asked about sitting there. She talked to the bartender and eventually was given the ok to sit there. We were made to feel like the problem children so didn’t get off to a good start. We watched the original table sit empty while many other couples came to eat over the next hour or so. With that behind us we ordered drinks and dinner. There were three other couples at the bar and the bartender was chatting it up with all of them. No attempt to chat with us. But he did serve us good drinks. The food was good and should have been the memorable part of the evening instead of the hassle trying to get a decent table. Two hours later when we left, the tables in the back were still unoccupied.

We really enjoyed the food after we received it. We were there for over 2 hours - service was terrible and it wasn't the server's fault. The food was pricey, but it was very good. Just wish the service was a bit better when spending that much for the entire experience. It wasn't so bad since we were on vacation and didn't have anywhere we needed to be. I know the couple next to us were celebrating a birthday and she was terribly upset that it took over 2 hours for their meal as well.
