Barrel House offers a unique farm to table experience in downtown Sausalito which celebrates local seasonal ingredients and sustainability in a beautiful setting.

Barrel House focuses on letting the ingredients shine. To this end, Barrel House supports local farmers and organic practices due to their amazing quality as well as being harvested at their peak of ripeness.

Barrel House will feature barrel aged and classic cocktails. Its wine menu highlights California winemakers. Barrel House will have rotating local micro brews on tap as well as wines on tap. Additionally, we will be hand crafting our own sodas with seasonal fruits.
Barrel House features furniture and woodwork that was handcrafted using reclaimed black walnut and curly maple trees. Every seat in the Barrel House has sweeping views of the Bay and an outdoor deck that sits right over the water.

Great view from terrace. Got a little sunburn. My bad. Great service food and mimosas. Prices commensurate with location and quality. I would return. Sweet potato fries and lobster artichoke dip were great. Burger also very good.

Without going into a huge moan about this place I'll just say that it isn't somewhere we will be going back to. It just isn't our vibe on so many levels. But clearly it is busy and popular - perhaps because of the location.

Sat outside with awesome views of SF while dining on delicious food and drinks. Highly recommend this place to anyone in Sausalito. Only thing we missed terribly on this visit is their Linguine Clams dish. It was absolutely the best I have ever had! I don’t know why they discontinued it. The waiter told us we weren’t the first patrons to ask about it too!

I wonder if any of the waterfront restaurants are truly great dining experiences or are you simply paying for the view? We chose this one as it had the best reviews. Our initial wait person was apparently "cut" after pouring our water and no one appeared to take care of us. So, we asked the waitperson attending a nearby table and he promptly came back and said he would take care of us. His name was Brendan (I think) and he was extremely personable and attentive. We had oysters to start and the local ones were clearly the best. I had the halibut, which was totally unremarkable, especially for the price. The potatoes had an odd flavor, which did not taste like truffle oil. My husband had two starters and the tacos were awfully small. The dungeness crab cakes were good. We paid for and enjoyed the view. Maybe best to have a hamburger there?

Great spot for easy and delicious lunch. Attentive service start and finish. Good to the kids. Big portions and great view. Nice spot for wandering around the local gift and speciality shops afterwards.

Excellent food and drinks. Service was good but for an establishment such as this I expected more high end service. Still amazing views and would highly recommend.
